Title: Happy Birthday Mr. President
Post by: Solar on June 13, 2018, 05:03:40 PM
That is, June 14th. Anyone else see the significance in this? To quote Q, "There are no coincidences".

And what a happy day it will be when the IG report on the Obama administration's handling of investigations into Hillary Clinton during the 2016 election plans to release his report tomorrow.

Donald John Trump (born June 14, 1946) is the 45th and current President of the United States

Do you think they will release it?

I have my doubts or that it will be so heavily redacted it wont be readable.

Hey AM, long time no see.
I think they fixed all the necessary redactions, from what I read last week. But we'll see.

I was thinking it wld come out all redacted, the right wld get really pissed and the left wld dance a jig. Trump wld let that fester over the weekend then claim it was redacted to hide the coverup and he wld declassify it all...

But we will know soon enough. Im more excited today than i am for the first husker game of the year.

Unfortunately, caught up in the fire, was the Verizon tower that provides his Internet.
Truth is, there was a fire pretty close to his home and the farmers got it under control but not quick enough to save their cee phone connectivity.

Yeah, I'm pretty certain, this is going to explode libs heads all over the country, expect to see a whole lot of denial.

wow, CNN, Bloomberg & WaPo desperately pumping out stories this morning that "prove" the report is nothing. They know this, and what's in it, somehow.  Amazing.

If that's what comes from a year of digging, and 3 deadline extensions because of the unexpected evidence and whistle blowing, well, there never was an investigation to start with.

I'm still hopeful that it's not the case.

To me the IG report appears to be the typical nothing burger that comes out of internal Washington investigations. Keep in mind, the internal investigators are invested in the swamp.

Not looking good. Recommendations at the end of the report are basically "meh, the FBI should really do this stuff a little differently, do some training, be less dumbass".

Kind of shocking for a 1-year-plus investigation, 3 deadline extensions for a shocking tsunami of whistleblowing, obvious felonies all over the damned place. Oh well.

Trumps needs a hidden ace up his sleeve, or this is a silly game of hearts with some old ladies.

What pisses me off is all the criminals / liars / miscreants can just go on laughing "hawhawhaw we win again".  That shit is past old.

Q

Are you thinking that the FISA and Trump-Frame-Up chapters of the OIG.......... will be more credible ?

I guess it's possible.  But now that we see Horowitz frame everything like CNN might, in today's report..... would you bet your house on it ?

My original thoughts still prevail.  We know damned well that there are perjuries, leaks, Awan felonies everywhere, Sex payoffs in congress on paper somewhere, Weiner's laptop ......... ready to be indicted this afternoon.

Screw Horowitz and the reports.  Just arrest the sunzabitches that we actually have dead to rights.  That's the real shame, totally ignoring what we already have in hand.

It's like they carefully fired McCabe and then arrested some individual dumbshit for leaking, just to string us along.

I have a bad feeling they're gonna let Mueller get away with hiding the discovery in the Russian case, and hiding the documents in the Flynn case.  And let Rosenstein get away with hiding all the documents that congress keeps asking for.

Not much to be upbeat for, at the moment.  Every "Big One" that we wait 2 to 12 months for ......... ends up crap.  Nobody's really got the stones for it.

I agree, If the report has been whitewashed as we are led to believe then why not reveal the true report, why the brushing off of what this report says. the lovers are getting a pass when the report says no bias in any decisions.  The left is breathing a huge sigh, they can blame all on Comey and the stupid investigations rolls forward.
THIS report was to be the end all..

There were few redactions, and I don't know if Rosenstein was actually allowed to re-write anything.

If he was, that would be ridiculous and we may still have something to go on.

If not, if this is just what Horowitz wrote, then his press clippings for being transparent and honest were greatly exaggerated.

I'd hate to think that Sessions, Horowitz, Rosenstein, Gowdy have all hoodwinked Trump.  Trump is smart, but I do think he fell for some swampy advice and recommendations for people, designed to get swampers in place by Trump's own hand.  He seems to have figured this out by trading up for Pompeo, Sanders, Kudlow, etc.  But he was fooled into picking their predecessors.

I'm glad I don't suffer your optimism. (sarc).

Rosenstein whitewashed this whole thing apparently and proved just who's side he's on.
But you are so certain Trump is going to let all these people off the hook because you have yet to see perp walks, well, like I said, there's a time for convictions, and that time will come in the fall, where the media won't be able to ignore it as we head right into midterms.
Go ahead and tag this post and bring it up in late September.

You fail to recognize Trump's ongoing achievements, Saudi Arabia, Israel, Jordan, all lining up against Iran who, at this point, and is in the process of being boxed in by the rest of the M/E.
He just denuclearized NK, kicked China in the nuts and has Iran in his sights, but you focus on what isn't happening fast enough. Wake up! This isn't an episode of "24", this is real life playing out, where one has to make sure all their ducks are in a row.

Notice how the left dropped the Imp[eachment BS? They are desperate at this point and are making all kinds of documentable mistakes and when it's time, Sept-Oct, shit will begin hitting the fan.

Daily Caller has a summary.

http://dailycaller.com/2018/06/14/read-ig-report-doj-hillary-clinton-email-investigation/

The report contained several bombshells.

Anti-Trump FBI agent showed "willingness" to impact election

Anti-Trump FBI agent Peter Strzok showed a "willingness to take official action" to impact the presidential election, according to the new report from Department of Justice Inspector General Michael Horowitz.

""(Trump's) not ever going to become president, right? Right?!" asked another anti-Trump FBI agent, Lisa Page. "No. No he's not. We'll stop it," Strzok replied.

Strzok's text "is not only indicative of a biased state of mind but, even more seriously, implies a willingness to take official action to impact the presidential candidate's electoral prospects," the report said.

FBI sat on Weiner emails for no good reason

When further Clinton emails were discovered on a laptop belonging to former congressman Anthony Weiner, who is married to longtime Clinton aide Huma Abedin, the FBI agents overseeing her case took just under a month to take meaningful action, Horowitz's report found.

No later than Sept. 29, 2016, FBI executives and the agents who oversaw the Clinton email investigation were informed that "that Weiner investigation agents had discovered 141,000 emails on Weiner's laptop that were potentially relevant to the [Clinton email] investigation." Comey didn't authorize a search warrant until Oct. 27, after he was briefed on them that day, the IG report found.

Former deputy director Andrew McCabe was aware of the emails' existence on Weiner's laptop and told Horowitz's team that he considered them to be a "big deal" but failed to move the investigation forward until agents from the New York field office began asking questions, the report shows.

Horowitz's team of investigators "did not identify a consistent or persuasive explanation for the FBI's failure to act for almost a month after learning of potential [Clinton investigation-related] emails on the Weiner laptop," the report said.

HFBI prioritized Russia investigation over Clinton emails on Weiner's computer, possibly due to political bias

The FBI prioritized investigating the Trump campaign's ties to Russia over the discovered emails on Weiner's laptop, possibly due to political bias, according to the report. Anti-Trump agent Peter Strzok was intimately involved with that decision.

Noting Strzok's "willingness" to use the FBI to stop Trump, the report said, "we did not have confidence that Strzok's decision to prioritize the Russia investigation over following up on the Midyear-related investigative lead discovered on the Weiner laptop was free from bias."

Comey acted like the rules didn't apply to him.

FBI riddled with leaks, FBI employees receive benefits from journalists

"We identified numerous FBI employees, at all levels of the organization and with no official reason to be in contact with the media, who were nevertheless in frequent contact with reporters," the report noted.

More anti-Trump bias at the FBI

MUELLER TEAM ATTORNEY SENT ANTI-TRUMP TEXTS

An FBI attorney who worked on the special counsel's Russia investigation until earlier this year sent anti-Trump text messages to a colleague, including one exclaiming: "Viva le Resistance."

The attorney's comments are revealed in a Justice Department inspector general's report released on Thursday.

The lawyer is not identified, but he worked on the Hillary Clinton email investigation and was the FBI's lead attorney on the investigation into Russian election interference. He was assigned to special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation soon after it began in May 2017 and left in late February of this year after some of his private messages were shared with the special counsel.

I'm beginning to think the IG did his best to not look deeper, so as to avoid actually finding an actual prosecutable crime.

IG REPORT: FBI AGENTS REGULARLY RECEIVED FREE HANDOUTS FROM JOURNALISTS

The Department of Justice inspector general identified a number of instances where FBI employees regularly spoke with members of the media and received a number of free perks from journalists including meals and tickets to various events.

On page XII in the report, the IG says the department "identified numerous FBI employees, at all levels of the organization and with no official reason to be in contact with the media, who were nevertheless in frequent contact with reporters."

The IG expressed "profound concerns about the volume and extent of unauthorized media contacts by FBI personnel that we have uncovered our review."

The contact between FBI agents and the media extended to receiving "improperly receiving benefits from reporters, including tickets to sporting events, golfing outings, drinks and meals, and admittance to nonpublic social events."

In the following paragraph, the IG implies that such benefits could have encouraged various agents to leak information to the press.

http://dailycaller.com/2018/06/14/ig-report-fbi-agents-bribed-journalists/

Well, color me shocked! How did the obvious evade you, Rosenstein? You have the evidence, why didn't you dig deeper and actually ask them what they were paying for? God Damn! What a shitty investigator!

Good point. I would have preferred the IG would have made it painfully obvious in some points, that these people had broken actual law, instead of pointing out irregularities or policy differences.
Granted, it's now in Sessions hands to prosecute, I just hope he pulls no punches.

Republican voters are demanding that President Trump run for re-election in 2020, the latest evidence that support among his backers is stronger than it was for nearly every recent president.

According to the latest Economist/YouGov poll, 68 percent of Republicans want Trump to run for re-election.

And Democratic pollster John Zogby said this week that only former President George W. Bush was more popular than Trump among his base going into his first mid-term election, and he had just launched a war against America's 9/11 attackers.

His approval ratings within his own party are high. If you look today, 87 percent of Republicans give him a positive approval rating. What's that mean? At this point in his presidency, Barack Obama had a 79 percent rating among Democrats. The only president at this point in time in the presidency to outscore Donald Trump was George W. Bush at 95 percent, and of course, by this point in time, we had launched the war in Iraq. Ronald Reagan wasn't this high. Jack Kennedy wasn't this high. The GOP is the party of Trump.

Bush at 95 percent, and of course, by this point in time, we had launched the war in Iraq. Ronald Reagan wasn't this high. Jack Kennedy wasn't this high. The GOP is the party of Trump.

I find these numbers to be extremely telling. We have more leftists in the Pub party, than does the Dim party have as their entire base.
In one sense, this is good news, but in another, it's just what the gop'E wanted so they could push the base out and lead with a bunch of moderate leftists.

Boy, did Trump ever kill the shit out of that plan.

According to GOPe all these Trump supporters are part of a cult.
Yeah, we're a bunch of "Wacko Birds", "Deplorables", the majority of the country, the very people keeping leftists in check, and the gop'E can't stand the fact that we're kicking their asses.
