Title: GOP support for it;s own
Post by: carolina73 on July 12, 2019, 10:40:23 AM
Do you think that if Acosta was a Democrat he would ever been persuaded toi resign?
Why do Democrats stand by their own and so many GOP members run and hide?

It wasn't like the FBI found his bribe money in a freezer or that he hired a foreign spies to pen slander about his opposition candidate.

If he was a democrat they would have portrayed him as the victim and run him as a presidential candidate.

There is no question GOP members do not face the heat as much as democrats and the MSM ignores it. I have accepted that is the way it is. I, personally, would have liked for Acosta to stay. However, I must admit he would have been a big distraction for the near future. That being said, all the shoes in the Epstein have not dropped.

My concern i that if we dump people without supporting them then the media will just get bolder in spinning their fake narratives. No one talks about the state prosecutor (Democrat) that was going to settle for probation in this case efore Acosta stepped in.

I totally agree with you about the prosecutor in Palm Beach. Noticed how the media is silent about Slick Willie and Epstein. They are looking for distractions from that connection.

He was a sacrificed chess piece hung out there to force the narrative and bring the story to the public.....

..and the Dems and the media took the bait, if Acosta can be drummed out of office for his part in the botched prosecution, just imagine what the public take will ber when names are revealed.

.....you might say its part of the plan

It depends. We have higher standards.  When someone behaves like a libtard, we dump them.  I think Acosta resigned on his own, and I'm happy that Epstein is in the MSM.
