But it gets worse.
Google users are sharing their shock at discovering Chrome's built-in anti-virus Chrome Cleanup Tool is scanning private files on their computers. The browser component, added in 2014 to scan and remove malicious or system resource heavy software, is behind the outcry
The discovery was made by Kelly Shortridge, a cybersecurity expert at New York based startup SecurityScorecard.
Ms Shortridge noticed that the tool was scanning files in a documents folder on her Windows PC and was concerned that it may be collecting data.
She shared her findings on Twitter, where she said: 'I was wondering why my Canarytoken (a file folder) was triggering and discovered the culprit was Chrome.
'Turns out Google Chrome quietly began performing AV scans on Windows devices last fall.'

Keep reading where files, photos, videos are getting uploaded off people's phones, without their involvement, as well.
Is this just another whole phase in the swamp fight ? Has somebody been making complete and total use of Google, FB, Twitter, Youtube, etc. to just run people's lives and everything else ?
Trump will have to spend billions just to be able to staff the investigations, AFTER he gets the Clinton-Obama-FBI cases going.

I was shocked, yes shocked to find out Google could snoop private files beyond their browser.
I expect it from the Govt/NSA, but I didn't expect Goog to take the risk, unless they did it on behalf of the Fed.
That in itself is outright theft.
Sad thing is, my Chrome was screwing up, so I uninstalled and reinstalled it just two days ago. I guess I'm going to have to get used to using Brave.

That's why Conservatives dumped Fire Fox, they really screwed the guy over, simply because he didn't agree with the left

Not sure if it's the weed, or maybe all that smog and pollution having gone to their heads. Lol
So what does everyone use? I used Mozilla years ago when it got so slow I dumped it for Google Chrome but I keep hearing more and more bad things about it. I also use IE.
Are there any better alternatives?
