Yeah, great news.   Now if I could only talk the company I work for into allowing me to carry.

I liken it to a magnetic sign on the door of the Service Truck:  "This driver carries less than $20 and is unarmed, he's not worth the bullet to kill him... but if you must, it'd save us $100k in benefits & retirement payments."
All animals are created equal; Some just take longer to cook.   Survival is keeping an eye on those around you...

Like those idiot libs with signs on their lawn signifying they are a gun free zone.
While the neighbor has one that states: I'm armed, my idiot leftist neighbor isn't. Guess who gets robbed?

Exactly.
The last time I was at our local Costco I saw a sign, "No guns permitted."
I'm sure a shooter would obey.
I would feel much safer knowing that there were some permitted gun owners in the store.

In some places in today's litigious society if one posts a gun free zone sign it could be a liability issue. I can see some lawyer suing someone for having a gun and using it if they post that sign.
"If you can't run with the big dawgs, stay on the porch!"

Possum

As long as congress is at it, pass a law that allows carry on army corp of engineer land, allow carry in ALL federal buildings, and allow carry in ALL buildings open to the public. Glad to see congress pass this law BUT they ain't done by a long shot!

True story, happened in Sacto when I was growing up.
Guy had a sign on his front gate that said "Warning Vicious Dog, No Trespassing".
Guy breaks in the back way, got bit, highers a lawyer, the lawyer argued that "You knew you had a vicious dog" so you should have posted signs all around your property. (double jeopardy)
He won over negligence. He should never have posted a sign, the guy wouldn't have had a case.

The argument was, it's illegal to keep a vicious dog and in posting these signs, was an admittance of breaking the law.

I never did understand the mentality of the judge, it should have been thrown out of court and the dirtbag should have done some serious time for mistreating a dog and breaking and entering.
But that's lib city life for ya, they actually have an ordinance against having a vicious dog in the city limits.
The guy explained his dog isn't really vicious, he posted the sign to keep kids off his yard, that his dog barks when they sneak around and he didn't want his dog barking.
That the dog was entitled to protect his owner and his space.

It's for these stupid laws, that I live rurally.
