He says Rubio isn't who "you" think he is. He said The Blaze is preparing an exposé on him for their On the Record program, and it doesn't look good for Rubio.

It's been becoming my feeling about this man mostly because of this damn immigration thing.

Moved into the Washington echo chamber, and feel in love with reading about how much he had "grown"/sarc.

He is a dirtbag...next... and a sell-out dirtbag to boot.

Rubio really let us all down.  If he was a real conservative, he'd be unstoppable.

He had his 15 minutes of fame...and his chance to be taken seriously.  Now in the course of a mere few weeks he's made himself into a has-been wanna-be.

I always felt something wasn't right about him.  I think I have a post or two from last year saying that, but I sort of stuffed it down and stayed optimistic because I had hope for him.  You're right, he got eaten by the RINO machine.  I would say, the main thing for me is, I understand he's a politician and it's a bare knuckles game sometimes, but I thought he was really smart.  After I heard him on that interview with Rush, it was apparent to me how uninformed he was.  That really was a big let down too, because I'm usually a good judge of that.

I too was fooled temporarily.  The good thing is that with one major issue he has eliminated himself from likelly ever being elected President in my lifetime.  I have no interest in anything he says.

Did he come from big cuban money or something like that  ?

That's a shady bunch.  Some are real conservative anti-communists for having lived through Castro, some appear to be country clubbers with Rove.

Takes big $ and connections to run for Senator.  Some poor people become congressmen, but not senators.

He may have been just riding the TP wave with Christie, laughing that he had fooled us.

His story is his parents did not have much of anything when they came to the USA from Cuba. I have not seen any disputes to this so I don't think it is "big money" from Cuba. I think he was naive to ry and cut a deal with Schummer and his crowd.

I'm very disappointed but I don't think Beck needs to call him a dirtbag. That just distracts from the debate.

I'm with Beck.  We've let Boehner destroy the GOP and the country for years now.  Somebody should have been calling him every name in the book for a while now.

At least it will get an argument going, and somebody will have to talk about the problem.

For the last 6 years, the RINO's have just gotten away with murder, without a peep from us.

Time to stop with all that.

I might get ripped for saying this......."STOP VOTING FOR THEM RINOS PERIOD"....no matter what. That is going to be my court of action.

It's easy for us to say.  The problem is with the 51% of the GOP that's just as corrupt and lazy and selfish as the 51% of the country that voted for Obama.

We all have to start doing something to sway them.  I guess it's time for me to join the anti-Alexander forces locally, and do my part.

It seems that we haven't had the displeasure of seeing or hearing from Joe "lobotomy" Biden as of late.

Could it be that his idiotic claim that "the Taliban per se is not our enemy" has finally came back to haunt him?

Or maybe it's that Obama no longer has the need to hide behind Biden's laughable "hard look" stare...

Skeptic

Rubio is another TEA Party picked intellectual lightweight. He got elected for throwing the red meat at the conservative base of the party, but no one bothered to check him out any further to make sure he was worth the support from the TEA Party. Apparently his "American exceptionalism" speech was all the vetting they needed. Had they dug further and actually examined his work while he was in the Florida State Legislature, they would have known what a real moron Rubio was.

As a Florida resident I have followed my Senator thoroughly and have realized just what a mental lightweight he really is. Unfortunately I had no choice but to vote for him, as it was either him or Governor Chris (a Progressive pretending to be a Republican.) Part of me hoped he would be better than what I thought he'd be. But nope, just another disappointment.

Too bad Ted Cruz is a Cuban-Canadian and can't run for president, because I like him so much better. At least we have Rand Paul, who would be my pick unless someone better emerges before 2016.
