Then so be it.  If Deleware is going to elect a liberal, then they can have at it.  I would much rather go down with a conservative than two libs.  If Castle won, the result would have been the exact same.

If the teaparty didnt just throw Odonnell and angle out there and took their time and choose candidates that could win....we would own both those seats right now...
Angle was hurt the most by her statements on Social Security and Illegal Immigrants and in that order...Odonnell never had an iota of a chance. Blindly supporting candidates because OMG they are Ultra Teaparty Conservatives wont do any of us any good or the GOP if they LOSE...at least put up candidates that have a chance...
The teaparty vilified along with some posters on here Carl Rove because he said she was the wrong candidate and could not win....He was right...the rest were wrong...
It was never about castle...he was a pos just like coontz

I believe we've seen the last of the days (hopefully) where the Republican Party will march out a candidate without principles and vision.  The Republicans in Delaware decided they'd had enough of RINO's and took their chances with a newbie.  And I think they are right.  What's the point of advocating for change when you aren't willing to take chances?  Delaware had, at one point, the chance to vote in a Dem, a RINO and a conservative.  Harry Reid didn't run on what he did or what he will do, he ran on a campaign about how radical Angle is.  The gaming industry and the unions funneled money and votes (did anyone else see the email from the gaming officials pushing their employees to vote for Reid?) to Reid.  I sincerely hope the Tea Party movement grows and stays vibrant.  People should be proud of what they accomplished to be sure.

I absolutely disagree, they should have taken the chance with a better selected newbie candidate...the end result here no matter how its spinned is that one of the most liberal members of the house won the election by a landslide....BECAUSE, the wrong newbie was swiftly selected without proper vetting....Im not saying the teaparty shouldnt bring forward candidates I truly hope they do...just ones that have some kind of chance of winning... I refuse to cheerlead any  candidates, teaparty or GO  that just cant win...losing candidates dont do a thing for me or anyone else.
Im going to make an honest statement here...I would have voted for her hands down, but even if she won I wouldnt have liked her...she never struck me as being genuine or being competent..
Angle was ahead until she said Social Security should be privatized, reid jumped on that and she never came back up where she was...
78% of the country wants smaller govt less spending and the debt lowered...when asked if social security and medicare should be cut the same identical group 66% of them said SS and medicare was tax money well spent.
Ive gotten into a few arguments with other conservatives when ive said Teaparty candidates have to leave SOCIAL SECURITY out of campaigns...or LOSE...and I stand by that statement

Nevada, site of the first ACORN scandal with vote rigging that was never properly investigated. I'm sure What ver ACORN has metamorphed into was hard at work stuffing the ballots and getting all those illegal aliens working in the casinos to vote.

Reid beat Angle????? BS!  BSBSBSBSBSBSBSBSBS

I don't believe it.  No way. No way.

I agree taxed that there was a unified conspiracy to "stuff" the ballot box. Based in most part by the unions that have been in bed with Reid since year 1. But it was done in such a way that detection will be impossible. ( inciting the hispanics to the tune of 90% support is an example )
It is a contention that is shared by many, but unfortunately has to be accepted under the prevailing powers that be. Although, like you, I to feel the need to vent. As if Angle had prevailed, it would have been almost a perfect night for the good guys.
I had held back my membership renewal to the N.R.A., when I heard that they were seriously thinking of backing Reid. Their contention was that he always voted favorably with them, and they didn't want Schumer, who is anti gun in there.
I wrote them a scathing letter, stating what "if he should lose you'll be left with no credibility". Which will definitely affect their membership drive to recruit new members. I'll never know how effective it was, but I believe that many other members posted similiar objections. Anyway they eventually backed off.
My solace is in sticking it big time up bammy's proverbial liberal Sphincter Muscle, and that will have to suffice for now. While my "revenge" is in keeping a promise that I made to myself several years ago. That is the simple act of NOT supporting any of my political enemies by patronizing them. Which means simply that I will never go to Vegas again on a junket. Just as I won't go to a movie starring any of the outspoken Hollywood elite, nor a Barbra Streisand Concert, nor any TV with the likes of David letterman on board, ETC.ETC.ETC..
