That's Right, the left doesn't like anyone that disagrees with their leftist opinions.
The head of Germany's most powerful cultural body has called for the plug to be pulled on the nation's multitude of political talkshows for a year, arguing that their populist agenda has helped fuel the rise of the far right.
Olaf Zimmermann, who heads the German cultural council, an umbrella group for organisations from art galleries to television companies, said public broadcasters needed to step back and rethink a format that has helped cement gloom-ridden public attitudes towards refugees and Islam, and propelled the into parliament at last September's election.
"I'd suggest for them, take a break for a year ... though the length of the intermission isn't the decisive factor. What is crucial is that they return with new talkshow concepts and try to come up with more suitable contents with regards to social cohesion in our society," Zimmermann said, arguing that the public broadcasters ARD and ZDF were obsessed with refugee-related issues, often framing them negatively.

This camel is really trying to stick his whole head into the tent.
I generally think we have to many "opinions" in the world (whether it is online blogs, political pundits, celebrity speeches at events, etc.). But, this is the real fight for the Freedom Of Speech (even though this is a foreign country).

Sadly, in Europe, the camel owns the tent.
I thought Hitler died in a ditch covered in petrol on fire. Apparently the fascists are still in charge.

As they always do, they never left. They just re-committed to the 100-year war. I'll bet Merkel is just the nascent residue of whatever went underground in 1945. She's the next generation after the last one stayed hidden and readied the next wave.
But we got lucky and Trump happened. If not, Clinton and the whole cesspool of DC would be giving fascist movements like Germany unlimited support. At least post-Trump, they're struggling to keep their pace toward socialist dictatorships across europe.

I actually pointed out to a lib in the EU how they are all Marxists, only now they claim they are Fabian's.
He actually thought Fabian's were for the working man. I led him to the Fabians page and had him read their history.
He came back in total shock and thanked me for opening his eyes. But he said he doubted he'd be able to convince his friends because, he said, they like having life decisions made for them.
That's one, but based on his reply, it sounds like an entire lost generation.
I wonder what German talk radio sound like. Ms. Kraus from the show Benson?

That's really what this comes down to, they hate people being informed. For proof, just look at our so called "School System".

understands Marx and Lenin. - Ronald Reagan
