No one else picked up on the above?  Before I take into consideration anything this man has to say about Trump I need to know WHY is he a former political advisor?  Was he fired?  Did he quit?

Does anyone know?

It's at least the second time Nunberg was fired from the campaign;

http://dailycaller.com/2014/08/26/sam-nunberg-is-officially-back-on-the-stump-with-trump/

He was originally fired in 2012 for alluding that his boss' bid to challenge Romney & Co. was a 'fake campaign'.  It was an 'exploratory' campaign.

The latest firing was from someone unearthing old FB-postings which bashed Al Sharpton's daughter, which a lot of us here would probably be-in-his-corner with, as a standalone discussion-topic.

When Cruz moves against Trump, I'll move against Trump.

One other point that's yet to come up..

Trump is also a supporter of universal health care, if not Obamacare.

"I am going to take care of everybody," Trump said on "60 Minutes" in September. "I don't care if it costs me votes or not. Everybody's going to be taken care of much better than they're taken care of now."

One of Trumps ongoing, unmet challenges is how to communicate to the public the truth that the responsibility of the world class business man is to gain approvals and cooperation from all sectors, politics aside. Especially difficult to get through to Packers and Lions fans, conditioned to a kind the kinds of "fan support" divisiveness politicians and the media play upon. When you think about it, that's why those same fans elect to stick around Detroit and Chicago and go down, as opposed to building and bettering their lives. When it gets down to it, the responses are likely too ingrained. Democrats are working hard for JEB as an alternative to Trump or Hillary, but still, most believe Hillary and Bill and Barack are their meal ticket.
Barack is now practicing the pull back of Cloward Pliven, witnessed by the mania to press TPP and UN Rule on America.

As one of those... Packer fans, there is a sense of "ownership" of the home team that goes way-back, politicians will come and go, but the team will still be in "Green Bay".

Long term thinking kinda takes the sex-appeal out of political candidates in the rural areas - their meal is outside the front door, growing & roaming the field & neighbor's field.   I'd say they're more suspicious of a politician and kinda lump them into the whole government bunch.  ...and, the older ones are quick to remind us of some of those government ideas that ended badly, all of them involved DEBT.

That is good insite - Trump is a get-in-make-a-buck-get-out, look for the next deal.   Few people actually think or live like that.
I've heard it said, Trump's support is "static" and probably going to erode.   Reminds me of that Beer commercial, "Jacob's Best", the line was, "Who's paying for this...?"  Donald Trump isn't - you are!

What is Trump's definition of losing? Could it be not winning IA or NH? This could be his out. I think he may be looking for an exit strategy.

The MSM has made absolute clowns of themselves,
constantly asking Trump, the clear frontrunner,
"When are you going to finally admit
that you have no chance of winning and quit?"

Another thing that bugs me is idiots with MBAs
who are obsessed with asking, "What's your exit strategy?"

Did anyone ever ask Henry Ford, "What's your exit strategy?"
THAT'S how stupid the question is!
THAT'S how stupid business "education" is these days!
Here are the 10 RINOs who voted to impeach Trump on Jan. 13, 2021 - NEVER forget!
WY  Liz Cheney      SC 7  Tom Rice             WA 4  Dan Newhouse    IL 16  Adam Kinzinger    OH 16  Anthony Gonzalez
MI 6  Fred Upton    WA 3  Jaime Herrera Beutler    MI 3  Peter Meijer       NY 24  John Katko       CA 21  David Valadao

Without a single vote counted, this has got to mess with Trump's psyche - don't you agree?   Lose Iowa and New Hampshire, and there's your exit excuse...?    Does Donald Trump REALLY want to be President, or is the constant -negative- media attention giving him second thoughts?

Solar has a really good point, does Trump save-his-bacon and leave Hillary alone?, or burn those bridges and take a chance-of-a-lifetime? (my opinion)   And... Trump needs a really GOOD running mate, like Cruz.   LOL  what a pickle to be in.  If Trump isn't going after Cruz, it makes sense - he'll leave Hillary alone.   Because of his business ties, Trump may be as bought as Rubio or Jeb.

That was the first thing that came to my mind
when Trump announced he was running.
He owns lots of real estate in Manhattan.
Many of his customers are wealthy leftists.

He's already criticized leftists a lot more than I thought he could afford to.
He's already suffered hits to his businesses.
Maybe he really is one of those rare creatures,
a genuine patriot who's willing to sacrifice his personal interests
for the nation's well-being.

  No way.  This is what I think.  He is making plans to implement every single law he can to give the Trump family business more money.  He did already say wages are too high we have to compete.  He is seeing double portions of the big pie.  Send out the illegals and bring them back in.  Just the ones business needs to take our jobs.

He's right though.  When Trump loses Iowa and NH, he's going to lose his mind.  You think he's crazy now?

I think we ALL picked up on the "former" political advisor.  It is somewhat irrelevant to his analysis.  He may have been fired.  However, that does not change his deductive reasoning of Trump's hurdle.  He did not criticize Trump.  He just pointed out things he deemed problematic.  I think he still wants Trump to win.

Thank you for responding, kroz.

Welcome nice to see you started posting, you have been quiet all this month.  Nice to see someone checking out the board before jumping in.

I've been reading for quite some time, as a guest.  It is clear to me that you all know so much more than I do.  I will probably be posting questions more than opinions at first.
Walkstall, you are very kind.  Thank you for the warm welcome.

Asking questions is a great way to learn and become part of the forum.   Some of us have been doing this for over 25 years.  You will find this forum is also a teaching board.  The more questions you ask the more we can teach other Guest that come in for a looky-loo.   I know you have been looking around the boards for almost an full month now.  But I don't know how long you did as a Guest.   Hope you have a safe New Years...

I hate to break it to you, but Universal Healthcare is pretty much a done deal. Even if Cruz wins the presidency, and we get rid of McConnell in the Senate, Obamacare has had 7+ years to worm its tentacles into the administrative state and society at large. By the time it fails (as it was designed to do) the private health insurance industry will no longer exist, the sheeple will, not just ask for Single Payer healthcare, they will demand it!

And the 535 gutless wonders in Washington D.C. will give it to them.

Trump is the only one who is acknowledging this reality.

I've been hearing that since 2009. You'll forgive me if I'm not impressed.
