It amazes me that people would get their news from Facebook. There is so much bunk being posted as news. No question why we have so many LIV's.

Finally, been waiting for someone to start this thread.

This is not news. This is something many many of us conservatives, have known about facebook and Zuckerberg for years now.

Because this is not in point of fact anything new. I would suggest it probably belongs in the distraction forum.

And yes quicksilver, this is in fact going on over at Facebook.

I know for a fact it is.

Here is how I know it.

To start ya have to go way, way, back to 1999.

I was a mod at an art site. Who had started using FB as a means for their patrons/customers to get help from the staff at the site.

So I had to get a fb account set up. NP.

I set one up, using my artist name, the folks at the site know me by.

Not my real name.

That was just a-ok, peachy king fine. For fourteen years.

Until, one day I found some pro-islamists gargabe about how they worship the same god we do on my page.

I deleted it, and made a public post, politely letting people know that's not what my page was for.

And that I don't agree with that so I will delete messages on my page like that.

Next thing ya know bam. Account closed. Why? First they tried to say it was because I'd used a Pseudonym.

When I challenged that, on the grounds that this was the name folks knew my artwork by. And that their TOS explicitly made allowance for that.

(Which I knew because I was also on Facebooks community standards board) They changed their story and said that it was closed, because my deletion of some pro-islamic religious crap on my page.

Was a racist action being taken against another user. And as such is prohibited by their tos.

Of course this was only AFTER some liberal twit complained about my deleting their pro-islam crap.

To be blunt if I had the cash I would have sued zuckerberg over it. 

In fact I'm the sort I would have gone after his business to put facebook out of business.

But when your a broke ass disabled veteran, nobody like me.

That's not always an option.

So yep it does go on.

That said, this sort of discrimination against conservatives will only continue too.

So long as we continue too frequent and keep these business's like Facebook operational by using their site.

So help me if I knew the first thing about it. I'd start a business to directly compete with facebook.

The market is definitely there for a service like it, that won't subject you to liberal mumbo jumbo whether you like it or not.

I just don't' know the first thing about servers and all that so I can't start it. Hell I'm lucky I know how to turn a P.C. on anymore. LOL

But if any of you do know how too. And are serious about doing so. Not only will I be your first customer.

Facebook users have been complaining about this for some time.

They're not the only ones doing it either. 

I had a Facebook account for all of a few hours until they learned I was a conservative. Boom---the account was gone. This story is 100% true. They censor, and widely.

Zuckerberg swears up and down that they don't but he's "investigating" and wants Conservative leaders input.

And just who is it that's supposed to be at this meeting with Zuckerberg representing and speaking on behalf of most who post here?

I don't recall ever being asked who the "lead conservatives" should be, or electing anyone to be the "lead conservatives".

Have any of you?

It's obvious with the release of internal facebook documents which support the allegation that it's true.

Now Zuckerberg and facebook think he can run out there, have a meeting with some one who probably does not represent true conservatism, to do some D.C. and be right back to business as usual.

Suppressing Conservative speech and thought online at Facebook in a week or two.

Watch and see if I"m not right. LOL

Zuckerberg has said there is no proof FB suppressed conservative news. Translation: We did it, but you can't prove it.

"Your honor, can the plaintiff produce deleted posts with proof they ever appeared, much less were removed by any second party and not by the plaintiff?"

Hard to prove what isn't there. Damages will be limited if any.

Yep, winning a suit and actually getting any damages are two different things.
