North Korea promises?!  Here's the deal they should have made:

Remember the WWII movie Sahara with Humphrey Bogart?  He was willing to trade with the Germans - water for guns.  "One rifle/one pint of water, two rifles/two pints."

We should offer "One fuel rod/one ton of food, two fuel rods/two tons of food.  One centrifuge/one shipload of food."

Either the North Korean people would still starve, or we'd have dismantled Kim's nuclear program.

Peter you are sooo right!
These kids in the WH have no idea how to bargain, they only know one way and that's, simply give stuff away.
All we got out of the deal was?
Giving them food, if they quit threatening us? WTF?

Q PATRIOT!!!

Cryptic Bert

Quote"We resolved the administrative issues we were concerned with," King said to journalists prior to leaving for Washington, where he is to brief Obama officials. Some remaining "details" still need to be addressed, he said.

The only way the issue is actually resolved is when we actually witness the destruction of their nuclear program.

So basically Obama is going to claim total victory by achieving what Clinton and Bush achieved. Which is nothing...

Remember this little piece of history?

Proof libs are simply stupid, they never learn from their mistakes.

Carter met with North Korean leader Kim Jong-il in Pyongyang and returned to America waving a piece of paper and declaring peace in our time. Kim, according to Carter, had agreed to stop his nuclear weapons development.

The Clinton appeasement program for North Korea included hundreds of millions of dollars in aid, food, oil and even a nuclear reactor. However, the agreement was flawed and lacked even the most informal means of verification.

In return, Kim elected to starve his people while using the American aid to build uranium bombs. The lowest estimate is that Kim starved to death over 1 million of his own people, even with the U.S. aid program.
