Change the slogan, "Aim High" to "Get High"...?

Look at the "3rd party" or "would not vote" portion (if combined):

Marines 12.7%
Army      8.9%
Navy       5.5%
Airforce  7.7%

Now combine that "other" vote with Gary Johnson, the results are "telling"...

                 "other"  +  Johnson  =   NOPE!           Trump
Marines      12.7%        26.7%         39.4%           50.4%
Army           8.9%         35.6%         44.5%           40.6%
Navy            5.5%         42.3%         47.8%           28.4%
Airforce       7.7%          37.8%         45.5%          34.8%

totals                             36.8%         44.3%   vs    38.5%

Well... it's pretty unscientific, but, if the rest of the public is anything like the military, Donald Trump wins with less than 40% of the vote.

And 44% of the voters want someone other than Hillary and Donald.

unfortunately, Gary Johnson will go down in history as just another "Also-Rans".   How many remember "Gus Hall" (another infamous Also-Ran)?????

Backing an Also-Ran candidate only serves to take away votes for one of the two real candidates!

well said!       This is an election that seems to play out like a Greek Tragedy; The Gods are petty, vain and fickle and their actions impact each of our lives in many unforeseen ways.  Although there are Heros, each of these seem to be mired in his/her own problems, which allow Fate to dictate the outcome. Finding someone to Lead us to actual "victory' has proven to be a Herculean task!

What I've been hearing for weeks - Gary Johnson votes are Democrat voters, they originally voted for Trump, then switched to Johnson - but were never in the Republican camp to begin with.

Now, THAT'S really a troubling thought, the Dem crossover vote gave us Trump, they promptly "left", leaving Trump with Republicans, Rinos and Conservatives.... few of which really wanted him to begin with.   Sacrifice your principles to keep Hillary out-of-office.   If you succeed, and Donald is the next President, how do you object to Donald's Liberal core principles - why, you VOTED him in!

Remember when there were "single issue - pro-life voters"?    We had candidates pledging "Pro-life", defund planned parenthood, overturn Roe v Wade, and on and on...  If they stay home, they stay "true", if they vote against their conscience for Trump, how do they rationalize that!?

This is uncharted territory.
