Founding Fathers enshrined freedom of speech as among the first of our fundamental rights. So much for freedom of speech.

Not the best site but I wasn't going to look to far as we all know they were there.

Really folks, REALLY?

I can't stand Obama and his tit suckers, but i'm not going to go online and threaten to take someones life, never mind the president of the United States of American.

If someone stated that about me online or wherever they would be getting a knock on the door from me personally.

Wow I feel kind of liberal here....lol Maybe i'm turning into a "RINO" huh Solar...lol

Don't know why you asked me, but is there precedent with regards to verbal threats?
I see complete hypocrisy, but one can expect it when one looks at Husein's agenda in seizing more control over our lives.
With that in perspective, do you really want to stifle dissension, isn't that what the First was all about?

I think the guy is probably not the smartest person you are going to meet, but I wonder how the SS found out that he made such a stupid post on his Facebook account.  That is kind of concerning to me.  I would think that everyone here would understand the laws.  If a conservative says anything that does not agree with the Lib way of thinking it is at the very least an outrage, proof of a number of negative attributes of the speaker, and if not illegal it should be illegal.  Now if a lib says anything up to and including a threat to do violence well that is at worst you taking it out of context and more likely it is a comment that is to be applauded.

These things are done all the time and I don't agree at all. But with me it's Hypocrisy issue again. The libs took this guy to court which may have been warranted. I remember hearing thousands of folks wanting to do the same to Bush but I never heard about any of them even being charged, did you?

None were charged, a couple were, but on other unrelated charges as well, much more serious crimes than a simple stupid threat.
But as hard as I tried, I couldn't find one.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Agreed but how do they decide to prosecute when a threat is made against Obama but the other way it's ignored. The fact is this is the heavy hand of the Obama administration to crush all but his tit suckers.

This guy is a total dumbass.

It is indeed hypocritical, however.  I've seen some insane Bush threats posted over the years.

Yes, death threats are illegal, but the seriousness varies and the charges as well by state.
But lets be honest here, the POTUS is the most protected person on earth, only a moron venting would post a threat, it's those you don't know about that are the most dangerous.

I think a visit from the SS would have quelled this idiot a lot faster than an arrest. "Ve half vays ofe dealing wiff peopole like U." :scared:

Totally.  I think this is some damage control for the SS as well.

Quell the people, make them silent in voicing their condescension of the false God.
It's sad if the country is in fear in speaking out. I hate this POTUS, I too wish he were not walking among the living, but I don't want him killed, I don't want a martyr for the leftists to name every school, street, library, town hall after, I just want him to go the Hell away, soon.

But that's just me, I never threaten, a threat is a warning, I never give warning.
