Did the GOP'e Screw Ken Cuccinelli To Help Terry McAuliffe

Sure looks that way.

The Strategic Campaign Group made headlines in 2014 when Ken Cuccinelli, the 2013 Virginia gubernatorial candidate, sued the "scam PAC" Conservative Strikeforce for false advertising, breach of contract, and unauthorized use of his name and image.

Conservative Strikeforce PAC is owned by the Strategic Campaign Group and chaired by Dennis Whitfield, one of SCG's senior advisers.  Before joining SCG, Whitfield served as the executive vice president of the American Conservative Union, which organizes the annual Conservative Political Action Conference.

Cuccinelli, Virginia's former attorney general, alleged that the PAC misled its supporters by sending out solicitations and vowing donations would be given to help the Virginia GOP candidate against the election's eventual winner, Gov. Terry McAuliffe (D), according to the Courthouse News Service.

In court filings, Cuccinelli claimed only $10,000 of the "approximately $2.2 million" raised by the Conservative Strikeforce PAC while using his name was ultimately donated to his campaign.
He also said the PAC failed to follow through on promises to spend money to aid him in get-out-the-vote efforts, direct mail, phone banks, radio advertisements, and canvassing.

Ultimately, the case was settled in May 2015, when the PAC agreed to pay Cuccinelli's campaign $85,000 and turn over all of its telephone, email, and direct-mail donor contacts. The Strategic Campaign Group, which made calls on the Conservative Strikeforce PAC's behalf, also turned over its donor information.

GOP is just as bad in Virginia about CONTROL, as the Dems.  It almost looks like the same bunch of elitists are managing BOTH political parties.

He got screwed by the typical rat reps in VA.
It's very convoluted, but I was able to do some deep research and found that the Libertarian connection to the GOP in upsetting the race to get McCauliffe is real.

First the evidence that the libertarinbooster.org that received $150 thousand dollars from a Democratic donor was actually started by Republicans.

Congressional District Committee, Rob Sarvis, the Libertarian gubernatorial candidate, and Arthur DiBianca, co-founder of Libertarian Booster PAC.

Libertarian Booster PAC is the PAC that assisted Sarvis' campaign and has taken donations from Joe Liemandt, a major Democratic donor. This led a lot of pro-liberty Republicans to accuse Rob Sarvis of being a Democratic plant, a somewhat ridiculous allegation given his previous membership in the Fairfax Young Republicans (he signed up to be a delegate at the 2013 Young Republican Federation of Virginia convention) and ties to the Republican Liberty Caucus of Virginia.

The superpac came to fruition just before the West Virginia election with a sole purpose of defeating TEA candidate Ken Cuccinelli, it was the Libertarian candidate that siphoned off enough votes to put Terry over the top.
This same Superpac disbanded shortly after McCauliffe's win.

Democratic donor Joseph Liemandt, a software entrepreneur from Texas who had a net worth of $1.5 billion in 2000, gave the Libertarian Booster PAC $150,000 in January 2013.

Libertarian Booster PAC suspending operations
08/27/2014

Libertarian Booster PAC is suspending most activity due to other priorities, but may occasionally take action. The PAC is not accepting additional contributions online at this time. The PAC may become more active again in the future. A big thank you to all our supporters and candidates.

I think the moral of the story here, is we need to suspect every candidate running even when they claim TEA status.
The GOP knows, no low where seizing power is concerned.

The problem in Virginia is the peoples republic of Northern Virginia which is composed of Fairfax, Prince William Arlington and Alexandria city (Marxist central)throw in the Uber left city of Richmond and those jurisdiction with their overwhelming population control the State. There is an alarmingly California like mentality among these creeps who gave you Timmy Boy Kaine for VP to purge all conservatives and drive them out.Gun control, shipping in Syrian refugee's to work in Rural chicken factories, increasing taxes is doing just that.

If that PAC is not a super PAC, then that one donation
exceeds campaign finance law limits
for total political donations by an individual in one year.

The limit is indexed to inflation, and is currently about $120,000.
Here are the 10 RINOs who voted to impeach Trump on Jan. 13, 2021 - NEVER forget!
WY  Liz Cheney      SC 7  Tom Rice             WA 4  Dan Newhouse    IL 16  Adam Kinzinger    OH 16  Anthony Gonzalez
MI 6  Fred Upton    WA 3  Jaime Herrera Beutler    MI 3  Peter Meijer       NY 24  John Katko       CA 21  David Valadao

They claim they only gave him $11.000, so what happened to all the rest?
It appears they only started the PAC to mess with the Cuccinelli race, someone needs an audit.

Having moved from Wisconsin, I know exactly how that is, Madison & Milwaukee have controlled the statewide elections for decades.   So ingrained in the Democratic Political machine, when you move OUT of that area, you're bound to think other people are the communists trying to ruin the world.  Completely backward thinking.

Here in Virginia, we have the liberals from New Jersey moving into the rural areas, and bringing their brand of self-destruction with them, make a buck at any cost, and when the crime rate explodes from Democratic stupidity, simply move on.   Which is a terrible way to SHAFT the lifetime locals!

I have a couple of daughters at the Richmond university, homeschooled, and just gritting their teeth to get through classes.   Who would have thought it?

We need to replace completely out-of-touch senators like Mark Warner and Tim Kaine.
The problem, as I see it, I think the establishment GOP *likes* both of them!
