The Justice Department has seized the popular classified ads website backpage.com over the sex trafficking ads on its website. On Friday, some visitors to the site were greeted with a message that said, "backpage.com and affiliated websites have been seized as part of an enforcement action"

As long as prostitution is illegal and forced to hide in the shadows, the criminal element who controls it inevitably expands into child prostitution. There are far too many drug addict parents out there willing to hore out their kids for their next fix...

Saw two stories just like that in todays news.
Nevada legalized it and you never hear much bad happening in the brothels.

Of all "Criminals" I feel worst for Prostitutes.
Though I rarely fall for the "Bad Childhood" BS, for them I will.
The majority, I believe, have been severely abused.
Can they be "Rehabilitated" ? Maybe. I'd like to think so.
But if not they deserve safety.
If their crime has a "Victim", the Victim is themselves.
