I lived in Sac, and among many other leftist doings, I witnessed the effigy hanging of GWB at the capitol.  We conservatives wouldn't do such a thing, but if we did with Obama, there would be a riot, and probably multiple riots across the country.  Couldn't get out of that state fast enough.

You may not have been there almost decade back, but people freaked out when someone had an effigy of Obama as a vampire for Halloween.
Personally, I believe all of it was media hype, they hated the fact that someone would insult their master in such a way.
Though the guy left it up till Halloween, the media started asking questions like, "Should there be laws governing such things"?
No one gave a damn but the relentless media, who manage to enrage some nut into attempting to burn down the guys house.

1.  Homosexuals
2.  Women
3.  Blacks
4.  Hispanics
5.  Transsexuals
6.  Born babies
7.  Grandmas and grandpas
8.  The poor

And whatever else I've left out.  Along with the list comes "hate speech", of course.
