Lib judge gets smacked down, and RINO health bill gets stuffed.  So far it's a good day.

QuoteA federal judge in Virginia ruled Friday against blocking President Trump's executive order that called for temporarily stopping the entry of immigrants from six majority-Muslim nations and refugee admittance overall.

The decision against the injunction comes after federal judges in Maryland and Hawaii blocked the implementation of Trump's executive order nationwide. The ruling in Maryland is set to be heard before an appeals court in May. These two past decisions keep the order at bay.

Judge Anthony Trenga of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia found that Trump was within his legal rights to impose the travel ban and that it was not discriminatory toward Muslims. The injunction had been brought forward by Palestinian activist Linda Sarsour, who was represented by an attorney from the Council on American-Islamic Relations.

Trenga, a George W. Bush appointee, wrote in his opinion that "the President has unqualified authority to bar physical entry to the United States at the border." He said that the executive order makes no mention of religion and has a "state secular purpose" of protecting U.S. citizens from terrorist attacks.

The law, and the limits of presidential authority are know by many, including the lying sacks of donkey dung who tried to block Trump's travel ban. Thankfully there are a few justices willing to implement the law, rather than prog agenda.

As for those who implement agenda over law should be impeached and removed from their positions, and in some cases, incarcerated.

What should be done with the vast majority of justices in the 9th cannot be properly expressed without getting this whole site in a lot of trouble......

No but Trump can appoint around 122 judges or more in the next 4 years.

I believe there is a bill in the Judiciary committee in the house to split the 9TH and create a new appellate court. By splitting the court and putting some of the libs in the ninth over to the new court Trump could appoint conservatives to any new vacancies watering down the liberal influence in both courts! We really need this bill to go through!

Yeah.  I don't think a District Court can overrule another District Court.

Conflicting rulings in different Appeals Courts
pretty much guarantees that the Supreme Court will take the case.
Here are the 10 RINOs who voted to impeach Trump on Jan. 13, 2021 - NEVER forget!
WY  Liz Cheney      SC 7  Tom Rice             WA 4  Dan Newhouse    IL 16  Adam Kinzinger    OH 16  Anthony Gonzalez
MI 6  Fred Upton    WA 3  Jaime Herrera Beutler    MI 3  Peter Meijer       NY 24  John Katko       CA 21  David Valadao

I've seen suggestions that the 9th Circus be split apart into two (or more) separate circuits, which in theory aids conservatives by lessening the impact of bad decisions by the Usual Suspects on that clown posse.

That would be inevitable should California split up into --- what, as many as five states? Seven? Will the fun never end, with them creating new official positions draining more of our tax dollars? Worse yet, is that the only way to infuse truly conservative views onto that sorry court?

Even more evil (from the left's view) would be to reassign the judges, splitting up their communist cabal. It's more humane than what that crowd deserves.

Yea, the ruling doesnt really matter since it doesnt stop the  injunction and unless the reps grow a pair pretty fast Trump wont make any supreme court appts.
