Title: FBI nabs news leaker..,.....!
Post by: Bronx on June 05, 2017, 05:23:28 PM
Well, well look what we have here. One of the anonymous sources. It's funny how the FBI is able to do their job when free to do so. Right James Comey.

With this story and that FBI raid in Dearborn, Mi. I see our FBI is making a comeback. Great job guys.

BREAKING! FBI NABS LEAKER!!!

A criminal complaint was filed in the Southern District of Georgia today charging Reality Leigh Winner, 25, a federal contractor from Augusta, Georgia, with removing classified material from a government facility and mailing it to a news outlet, in violation of 18 U.S.C. Section 793(e).

Winner was arrested by the FBI at her home on Saturday, June 3, and appeared in federal court in Augusta this afternoon.

"Exceptional law enforcement efforts allowed us quickly to identify and arrest the defendant," said Deputy Attorney General Rod J. Rosenstein. "Releasing classified material without authorization threatens our nation's security and undermines public faith in government. People who are trusted with classified information and pledge to protect it must be held accountable when they violate that obligation."

According to the allegations contained in the criminal complaint:

Winner is a contractor with Pluribus International Corporation assigned to a U.S. government agency facility in Georgia. She has been employed at the facility since on or about February 13, and has held a Top Secret clearance during that time. On or about May 9, Winner printed and improperly removed classified intelligence reporting, which contained classified national defense information from an intelligence community agency, and unlawfully retained it. Approximately a few days later, Winner unlawfully transmitted by mail the intelligence reporting to an online news outlet

If this reporting is correct why didn't the NSA vet Reality Leigh Winner. She is all over the place with her liberal hate.

NSA leaker part of the left-wing resistance, ties to Muslim civil rights' groups

Reality Leigh Winner, the alleged NSA leaker who purportedly passed confidential government information to the press, is said to be part of the "Resistance" and has supported Bernie Sanders, the Women's March and other civil rights movements including the Islamic Society of North America, a Muslim civil rights group.

Does Any NSA contractor have access to anything at a top secret level they want to read and copy? I always thought access was granted on a need to know basis! Looks  like we have real security problems if just anyone is given access to anything!
First thing I would do is suspend all NSA "contractors" and require them to get recertified to their security level!

So who is this twit? I'm starting to think she may be a Clinton/Abedin plant. Hey, nothing else makes sense.

A government contractor who was charged Monday with leaking top secret U.S. intelligence to the media appears to be a climate change activist and vociferous anti-Trump leftist who is sympathetic to the terrorist regime in Iran, according to her social media profiles.

Reality Leigh Winner, 25, was arrested by the FBI this weekend in Georgia and appeared in court Monday to face charges. Winner admitted that in early May, according to the Department of Justice affidavit, she "printed and improperly removed classified intelligence reporting" and sent that information to the media.

Also on Monday, The Intercept published a top-secret National Security Agency document related to Russian hacking efforts concerning the 2016 election. According to NBC News, Winner was the source of information for The Intercept, a far-left publication that supports American traitor Edward Snowden.

Why Winner had access to a top-secret document on Russian hacking initiatives remains a complete mystery. The DOJ affidavit did not specify how she accessed the information.

Winner's photo was published by The Guardian's Jon Swaine, who reported she is a former U.S. Air Force linguist who speaks Pashto, Farsi, and Dari, languages predominantly spoken in Afghanistan and Iran.

I was initially surprised at the speed they caught this girl, until I recalled how many (if not most) desktop printers these days add a specific code to every page it prints. Here's more, in an illustrated guide on how to get caught trying to be anonymous.

It's called a "Printer Server".  Every page printed is stored on the server, forever.  If you set up a printer by searching, and nothing but names of printers shows up, there probably is a printer server in use.   The second way it's tracked, larger printers have their own hard drives, which store everything printed, including who sent it.

I can't imagine how this girl is not going away for a long time.   Security training is an annual requirement, and it's gotta be some of the most no-brainer kind of stuff you've ever seen.  When I was quizzing a guy in the USAF, who had just completed his renewal training, it turned out... it was exactly the same for Top Secret and Secret levels.  Same corny animated video... and there is no way to skip through it, there's plenty of mouse clicking involved.   This girl is toast - and she knows it.  I suspect she will be made an example of, if for no other reason to put the fear of prison back into hearts of people with clearances.  There is absolutely no way she couldn't have known she was breaking several rules/laws, and that the penalties are serious stuff.

Even your new home printer tracks a lot of information on what you do with your printer.   Number of pages printed #of B and W, # of color, # of copy you make, # of Fax.  Phone # of fax you have send.

I don't need my computer on to up date my printer.  It will do it on it's own, with out the need of the computer.  But then I have a WiFi Printer set up.

I find being on the do not call list is a joke.  I am now told that for 40$ more a month most of these call can be blocked.

I paid less than $40 ten years ago for an answering machine with a 100-second recorded answer. This usually screws with the telemarketer's recording to start before my machine's "You-have-reached" answer is finished, so when the telemarketer tries the NEXT call after mine, the message starts halfway through. (I'm told there are other ways but this works for me.)

Having actually done Police work I experienced lots of "Solutions" myself. One of them goes like this:

Criminals know the cops are on their necks, the cops want a "Body" somebody actually committing a crime so the bad guys give the cops a "body" somebody who is expendable or somebody they don't like. somebody who, if they "flip" won't hurt them. So the cops get an anonymous "tip" about so and so, they get pointed in a certain direction and let "Police work" take care of the rest. Easy to do, simple to do, oldest trick in the book, in the meantime they carry on while the cops are processing the papers enjoying the pat on the head from superiors.

There are a whole army of these useful idiots out there, cut from the same cloth recruited by the Obamanista regime...remember our old Buddy Snowden? Same Same GI

Wouldn't it be interesting to get a full confession out of Hillary or Bill?   Obama or Jarret?  I can imagine they've been leaving a deep trail of bodies for decades, climbing over them to reach to the top.  I guess that's why they get secret service protection long after they leave the WH.  God will sort it out, nothing is ever hidden from Him.

If you use a wi-fi router, that's one. They used to call it war driving when a roaming hacker with the right Optronics receiver could intercept and download anything passing through an unsecured router. I don't know if that company still exists or such units are still available, but at one time I read of people getting VERY concerned that a car at the curb outside might be the guy who's going to get you fired for whatever you surf for, on-line. Expand that into political dirt-digging and the stakes rise dramatically.

Title: FBI nabs James Comey for leaking
Post by: Hoofer on June 11, 2017, 07:35:34 AM
What I'd like to see happen... (not the subject line)

If you get a chance, listen to the Friday podcast of Mark Levin - the focus of the leaking and so-called Russian interference is on the wrong people.   Who was in charge when all this election manipulation took place?   How could Donald Trump or his administration have anything to do with this?   How about investigating Valerie Jarret, Barak Obama, Hillary Clinton, John Podesta, Susan Rice, James Comey, etc., just put the investigation where it belongs - and the news cycle will shift away from this nonsense.

Yesterday, while working at a customer's site, they had MSNBC or CNN blaring away - some nut who hasn't had a decent shave in a week, is getting exercised, saying Donald Trump is DESTROYING this country.

So we walk onto a job site, "Hey man, you're not gonna like this..."
Pausing outside the site, for a moment, hearing a faint radio in the distance, "Oldies?"
With a grimace..., "worst than that."
Surprised, "Country??"
Shaking his head, "CNN .... Someone listens to CNN on a construction job site..."
Astonished, "How do the carpenters keep from hitting themselves with hammers, and the sparkies not electrocute themselves...?"
Looking at each other in agreement, "Looks like a weekend job..."
"Yeah, if he leaves for lunch, see if we can find a Levin rebroadcast, this place needs cleansing."
