Your question has far too much common sense to be applicable to the revolving door of the elites of The Swamp.   Everyone keeps their security clearances..at least until Donald Trump came and upset their applecart.  Now that our President is changing these 'traditions' and many Dems and Republicans have even more reason to see he is defeated in November.  Them security clearances and access to 'insider information' is one valuable commodity these Swamp Scum can trade on!

Seems to me letting someone keep a security clearance after they no longer work for the government is a recipe for leaks.
