Paul Ryan BEGS Congress to Pass TARP
I'll wait for more info than this, something doesn't smell right.
Alrighty then. Ask and you shall receive. What would you say if I told you Paul Ryan the "RINO".... Voted for Bush's federal expansion agenda 94% of the timeVoted for massive Bush Medicare expansionVoted for federal intrusion into public education via No Child Left BehindVoted for TARP bailoutsVoted for auto bailoutsVoted for the 2008 stimulus package Voted for the $192B 2009 stimulus packageIf you took Paul Ryan's name away from all these votes you would think it was a democrap or a "RINO" voting. But instead my friend it was Paul Ryan.I couldn't understand why Mitt pick him as VP. Although I voted for them it just took the wind out of my sail.Paul Ryan is a "RINO" my friend no two ways about it.
I wasn't talking about his record, I'm talking about blaming him for his role in ousting Conservatives from committe.Boehnor is solely responsible for that move, regardless of what is being said.Is Ryan perfect? Hell no, but if he can make a difference working within enemy ranks, then so be it.http://heritageactionscorecard.com/scorecard/index.html#R000570#member
That's a great page!Heritage is awesome.
I trust them more than any organization out there for the raw truth.
A LOT of people were taken in by that.
I like Paul Ryan, but...That is kind of like saying, "Well, everybody else was jumping off the bridge, so I did too!"
I think it's worth noting, that everything that Bronx pointed out were votes under Bush. In order to call Ryan a RINO, we'd have to see the votes in context. I'm not saying they're good votes, but hindsight is 20/20/. Did Ryan vote along with other republicans on these votes, or did he break away and go with democrats? The Bush administration completely blew it on the runaway spending, but in Ryan's position at the time, there's a certain amount of going with the flow that is expected. It would have been pointless for him to have been the only guy fighting the Bush policies.
That is one of the main reason I will never vote for another Bush again - not even for effing Dog Catcher!
There's no question, that Bush set the table for both the constitutional abuses and the spending that we are seeing today.
With as little respect as possible...BS!
I guess we have a difference of opinion. The patriot act. The failed no child left behind. The formation of the DHS and the TSA.........................The out of control SPENDING.Seen the DHS website lately? Think they're after terrorists?Maybe a little, but a new priority is right wing extremist groups, (tea party types), and people that call themselves patriots.Want a link?Yes. Bush set the table, and Obama has been able to grab the baton and run it faster than anyone in history.I like Bush. He made some major screw ups though.
That was my feeling. I agreed with MOST of what he did at the time, but others warned that while you may trust Bush not to abuse these powers, ANOTHER president will come along whom you will not be able to trust with these powers. How prophetic they were! And the Libtards who complained the most about Bush, are perfectly happy with Obama's clear abuse of power.BTW would Crist even be a "conservative" Democrat? I have no idea what his real views are, or even if he has any.
