This is another instance where the President is delivering a punch to the Marxist fronts.  We'll penetrate this one too like we've been doing with the news media, academia (Berkeley was the turning point I think), Hollywood is getting its ass kicked, and now the sports industry.

I've been done with the NFL for a few years now, but I will always come back if they get their crap together.  I'm the guy that buys jerseys, NFL Sunday Ticket, goes to games, obsesses over fantasy football, listens to sports talk radio, and consumes sports media.  I haven't done any of those things in a few years.

Sports used to be the place I went to get away from politics and all the other bullshit of day to day living. Sports was a weekend thing, separate from the work week, not Monday night and Thursday night.

I don't know that I'd lay it all at the feet of Marxism, but it's out of hand, for whatever reason. For me, free agency was a bad move, and it took so much joy out of pro sports. But the injection of politics into the games is.... unforgivable. Hey, NFL, NBA, MLB, you have done that which no one may do -- you have shit on your own doorstep. I will never cross that doorstep again.

My sentiment, too!   Many fond memories of Monday Night Football from the Howard Cosell & Dandy Don era - I'd tune in just to hear the banter, Don & Howard trading barbs would keep me laughing silly.  Then the put in one after another, humorless, dry, colorless commentary - ....blah!   Even the voices are boring.   Howard David would have been a great choice, but... >yawn< it's like baseball, turn on the game to help fall asleep.

Discussing the Packers today, Rodgers comments, he should have just SHUT UP, but he stepped in it royally and now he can't wipe the crap off his cleats.   Haven't watched a single game, still fuming MAD about Goodell for ruining my favorite sport, and starting to hunt down all the Packer stuff to toss into the garbage.

Disrespecting the flag and our national anthem is a trademark signature of Marxists.  That doesn't naturally grow.
