Title: Erickson nails it - RINOs vs conservatives
Post by: taxed on July 19, 2017, 04:02:59 AM
So true.  The Dems have the majority when you count the RINOs.

http://theresurgent.com/the-gop-establishment-decides-to-stop-president-trumps-agenda/

QuoteConservatives support the repeal of Obamacare, but moderate Republican establishment leaders do not. Guess what? Obamacare is not being repealed.

Conservatives support building a wall along the border with Mexico, but moderate Republican establishment leaders do not. Guess what? The wall has not only not been funded, but it is not being built either.

Conservatives support tax reform, but, again, moderate Republican establishment leaders do not. Guess what? Tax reform is no where to be found.

Conservatives support cutting the size of Washington and cutting spending. Again, this is not happening and it is not for a lack of trying.

Time and time again, the Republican establishment has blocked all those efforts. It is moderate and liberal Republicans who continue to stymie the advance of any and all conservative legislation President Trump supports. They want to grow government, subsidize Obamacare, and reward their own special interests. They have no intention of providing a level playing field where the poor and middle class can compete against the rich. They've instead decided on a paternalism that keeps everyone piled on a social safety net with their friends rewarded.

He's spot on with one exception, there is no such thing as moderate and liberal Republicans, these are solid leftists and Marxists within the party.

In that sense Levin has been nailing if for the last month.   When will we start our own party?...call it whatever, caucus with the pubs when needed to ensure control over the house and senate if possible,  But vote as a unwavering constitutional/conservative block.  Work on gaining seats and gradually over time supplant the Republican party and relegate it to scrap heap of American political history with the Whigs and Torres.

Oh yea, hello all, been lurking since I bowed out, I was too raw after the election, needed to take a time out before being forcibly removed

At this rate why don't we call the RINOS what they really are? Liberals.

I agree with your intent but the R in that shows WHOSE liberals they are. It's short, with cleaner language than would be in a more accurate description.

Rat bastards?

More like a feral growl but it's TGIF so have it your way.   All I come up with is illegal, inflammatory, or at the very least immorally accurate.
