If you consider people are getting more than one vote just fine, then I guess you think mail-in voting is fine. The problem is people are letting other people fill out their ballots, especially family members. Take a look at the picture below, India puts ink on all voters so they cannot vote twice, the USA should do the same thing. If people vote outside a polling station, not behind a curtain it invites voter intimidation. This often happens within families where a family member will pressure other family members how to vote.

I live in Ca, my County is strictly "Absentee", not your version of mail in, no, I had to prove I bought my land because I didn't have a utility bill as proof of residence. My County did this because the DNC in Ca is corrupt, always has been.

That's how absentee works, you have to prove residency, and keep on doing it every four years with a signature card.
