I happen to agree with Dr Carson, however, this illustrates why he would make a terrible candidate!

This was obviously a set up and if he is going to let himself be suckered in by something as simple as this...

I think that you are correct and it may be over for him.  I believe he doubled-down on trouble by saying that in the future he will not discuss gay issues or something to that affect.

Yep, and the leftists have waiting in the wings, a real life hermaphrodite to take offense.
Failing for these Dim loaded questions are the sign of an amateur.

Yep! Also, I don't know who the people are that are 'advising' Carson, but you'd think that Carson would have spoken to SOMEONE with at least half a brain who would have advised him to NOT go on a show hosted by someone that has the last name of C-u-o-m-o, not unless he wants to be questioned by a douche nozzle.

Yeah, since the first time I heard him speak at that breakfast, I asked, "Who is behind this guy"?
I still think the GOP has their fingers in his campaign in hopes of splitting the vote.

And to believe that I thought he had half a chance of getting a few votes.

It was bad enough that he allowed himself to be baited by the gay issue questions to which he gave his best side in remarks on just how he felt but then he went and apologized for his remarks.  One thing we all know about the spoken words, the brain processes these words and they are rarely forgotten.  He won't ever convince the gay community that he's for them-ever.  That gay vote isn't a large percentage but at this point in the game Carson couldn't afford to gain negativity from any source.  He just needs to follow the examples of the most recent electeds and learn to double-speak or at least speak outta' both sides of his mouth if he wants to stay in the running.

One of the things I like about Dr. Carson is that he is not a slick politician!  He may never be able to become President, but I do believe this man is the genuine article.  I don't believe he is owned by anybody; He's his own man and speaks his own mind (as did Ronald Reagan, by the way). I still like Scott Walker, Ted Cruz or Mike Lee, much better, but that doesn't diminish my great respect I have for this incredible Leader.  I'm glad he's on our side and I'm glad to hear him say publicly what so many of us say privately  (but if we ever considered running for any political office; we can not say for fear of the consequences)

Hell, even the new Sec. of Defense, Ashton Carter, is already saying he has no problem with transgenders.  It's only a matter of time before he/she's are sharing the fox holes!  Why should the left be able to openly speak their opinions and somehow that's courageous?

My remarks or rather advice for carson on staying in the running were made tongue-in-cheek....just saying.   I think most conservatives find his attitude and his stance refreshing after too long of a period where there was no firm moral ground to be found amongst those running for office.  I don't see where the situation among voters has changed either.  Carson would be a fine candidate especially in the field of HHS.   His presence there could maybe restore that branch to what it was intended to be.

All true and if it's over for him, there should be a place for him in a future administration.

Perhaps a new cabinet position..Secretary of Race Relations.  (to undo the damage done by this Administration and take up all the oxygen in the room, allowing the professional race baiters like Al Sharptan and Jesse Jackson to suffacate in their own foul hatred!)

Yeah, Actually I don't want to increase the size of our goverment...I want to shrink it down to a more manageble size.  New Cabinet Posts (orCzars) are not something I really want to see. We need to lose a few of the one's we have (and their bloated bureaucracies).

A new Cabinet position would be okay assuming it can actually accomplish something, therein lies the problem.

Of course whether one chooses a gay or strait life style is a choice, just as adultery, pedophilia and what color I choose to wear today is a choice.

But of course he apologized for his comments..

One of these days maybe we will have a candidate who will choose to not apologize for his or her beliefs.

Absolutely agree. The MSM and democrats know that social issues are a trap for the GOP. We should concentrate on national security, freedom and fiscal responsibility.

Spot on. Dr. Carson walked right into a trap that was festooned with fluorescent flowers and neon lights and magnesium flares and a brass band crashing in the background.

He has never been a particular favorite of mine, but he damn sure lost any vote he might have ever gotten from me by walking into the queer trap. What a dumbass. What a newb.

Why is it even an issue? We have a tyrant ruling by edict, shredding our Constitution at every turn, we have a Congress which will not act to preserve it's own political authority or that of the people. We have towel wearing muscums beheading raping pillaging like it's the good ol days of the crusades again. And I'm supposed to care about who is sleeping with whom? I could care less what two adults do to one another in their own bedroom. We as a nation have far far greater concerns facing us.

Oh btw, Dr. Carson is correct though. EVERYTHING human beings do, is by choice. We are not animals that are born with instincts like a gazelle which can run minutes after birth for example.
