Jeb would agree.

I wouldn't put it past Jeb Bush and Bill Clinton to have placed Trump as a wild card to spoil the election.  Don't know the dynamics but it does stick with me a little.  Might go something like the questions rigged to make Bush come out as a winner showing Trump as more than a little crazy.  An effort to bring things closer to a Bush/Clinton contest.   Somehow that is what they are going to do.  Eventually Fox News will be selling Bush to us because that's how the Republican party wants it.  Business as usual.

Let me start off by saying I was raised Red, Tea Party beliefs are weaved into who I am.

Donald Trump said he's evolved over the years, and to be fair, the democrat party was different in the early 2000's and before that, then what it is now. Donald Trump seems to be really honest, they ask him a question, he'll answer it in an honest way, as most of his counterparts will kinda go around it, if you will. Don't forget Ronald Reagen was a democrat for many years, then became a Republican. If you are worried about him being a Democratic mole, or a RINO, I'd say that'd be Chris Christie.

Donald Trump is a conservative through and through, and he changed like good old Ronald did. Don't forget he's from New York which is almost exclusively democrat, he's aged and seen the other side of the argument.

To the fella who wanted to know how Trump is conservative, http://www.ontheissues.org/Donald_Trump.htm

He has more middle views on a few things, but I can agree on most issues. Issues aren't everything, I also like him for his attitude. When he speaks, I feel like he's saying what lots of us are afraid to say. I'm not afraid to say anything, I got the first amendment protecting me and a big mouth.

Cruz was my favorite before Trump joined in. I like Cruz and if he can get an aggressive attitude, I think he has a chance against Killary. My Dad told me "The nice guy finishes last". I'm not an arsehole to people, but I'll take lead and stand my ground when needed. I also like Rand Paul.

I think I should explain why I hate on Jeb Bush so much, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rc7i0wCFf8g. That, and I also strongly disagree with common core, and not to mention he has no energy.
No Killary in 2016!

He's old enough to have this all figured out -- but he hasn't. His ideology ISNT settled. He voted for Obama when the rest of us "little people" saw through the guy. Even if he's moving conservative in his old age, HE ISNT THERE YET. And frankly, I can see that he doesn't rely believe the things he says on several issues. They're not part of his core. Glenn Beck would ask, "what was your tipping point that caused you to change your foundational beliefs on this issue?". He can't answer that question, because he hasnt made a fundamental change.

So YOU think about it.

Already did and as much as I like Cruz he will never be elected in the general election. And if I have to explain why than YOU do the research and figure it out.

Already? FOX News has been pushing Jeb from the get-go.  Care to explain what's in it for Trump to allow himself to be bought by the Clinton's because in essence that's what you're implying.

Welcome to the forum.

I am still waiting on some specifics from Trump. What he says he is for sounds good, but it is utopia without specifics. One example of this is his statement that he will build a wall and Mexico will pay for it. He has never answered how he would do that.

Agreed.  I also post elsewhere and it's been my contention there that we should wait and see and hear his specifics.  Yes he has "evolved" like they all have on issues aand he is not articulate like a professional politician.  He has an ego the size of Texas but that could be an asset forcing him to deliver on what he promises or incur the public's wrath...he doesn't like being disliked. IMHO it's way too soon to hitch one's horse to any wagon permanently.  We're about 18 months out.  Lots and change.  Just my two cents.

Public wrath has never been a deterrent for Obama and unlikely to phase Trump either.  People with this sized egos are in their own world.

I think the old...... "that person cannot win" hit job has been proven wrong over and over again.  People fail to remember how many winners were first deemed incapable of winning!  It is a lame attempt to undermine a legitimate candidacy.  Most of us have grown older and wiser..

Trump is a populist, which is what democracy want but problem is populist never deliver. Just like Obama, remember Obama did a 180 on many  issues after the election. Why would you trust Trump more? Just because he is telling what you want to hear?....

Mc'Cain was busy agreeing with Obama during his campaign, Romney was always on defense during his campaign having to defend his flip floppin, compromising on conservative policies and apologizing for being a vampire. Cruz will be a different story because he is not a moderate and he has no whatsoever leftist leanings.

I agree Cruz needs to get tougher, but at least he has integrity which America needs more than populist statement and empty promises which is all Trump can give.
