QuoteThe Justice Department is set to announce broad restrictions on racial and religious profiling in federal investigations, including those involving matters of national security.

I'm sure there will be "exceptions", though. (sarc)

Oh course, it's not as if our major enemy at the moment (crazed IslamoNuts) can't be differentiated by their religion or anything/sarc.

The DOJ are effing idiots.

Have Americans been out firebombing mosques and beating-up ME-ers over the last 5 days?  No.  Then wtf, DOJ?  Are you for us, or against us?

Well we wouldn't want to piss of the followers of islam, otherwise they many not like us and declare jihad against us. Oh wait, they already have!

I swear the 'leadership' of this country is determined to turn the country over to our enemies and damn the consequences.

I can't wait for the DOJ's definition of "profiling". Will it mean that a PD can't mention the skin color of a suspect in describing him/her? Will it mean that a PD can't mention or stake out certain places a suspect is known to frequent?

The article seems to imply that this traitorous policy will only apply to federal agencies........for now. I wouldn't be surprised if it eventually becomes SOP for all state and local LEO agencies, though.

Maybe, for now. But the nose of the Federal camel is under many/most/all local PDs' and Sheriffs' tents. If they receive Federal funds they can be strong-armed into compliance.

Certainly one motivation for the feds providing free and/or cheap military hardware to every LE outfit there is, even including some college campus police forces and elementary school cops. Uncle Sam ALWAYS has strings attached to the goodies he doles out....

Totally against us.  My husband and I were trying to get thru breakfast this morning and we were talking about the beheadings of late.  We were making bets on his trial, if any, and our opinion is that he will holler Sharia Law and that'll do it for him.  I'll swear I don't believe my breakfast had digested before I heard this news about the religious profiling ban.  Just in time to take care of the nuts doing the beheadings.  WTH are we supposed to do with this latest pos from the doj?

The DOJ is definitely not out for us. We have to accept that as long as Obama is in office. However, we can color the beheader in OK "gone" being tried in there.

In my town's local paper, they report stories on crimes often WITHOUT full descriptions of offenders.

For example, an armed robbery took place outside a convenience store.  This is RARE in the town I have lived in for 28 years.

The people committing the robbery were only described as having a gun, and being a man and a woman.  That's really helpful.  Political correctness run amok, as is the subject posted on.

Not quite, as we still have Holder until January, right?  Lots of time for him and Bozo to take a few more deadly shots.
