This poor guy merely asked a question, but because hes White, he was fired.
It now goes before a Federal Court.

The dispute began after Taylor, who is white, used the phrase the "n" word during the 2007 staff meeting. She said participants at the burial had said the full word "at least a hundred times or more," according to court records.

"Does this mean we can finally say the word n-?" Burlington asked colleagues, according to depositions.

Nicole Wolfe, a producer and one of the three African American employees among the nine people at the meeting, exclaimed: "I can't believe you just said that!"

Much more, and the more I read, the more I see that it is PC that is killing the 1st Amendment.

There is a double standard as anyone who has been around young to middle age blacks having a spirited conversation knows full well. 

Same story as with islam.  If someone is wanting to be offended they'll find a way and then scream foul, only an idiot falls for that.

I would like to see the double standard resolved but it won't likely be because it is one more buzz word for leverage and liberals don't want an even playing field.

It's mainly about behavior, and the behavior of someone who does their best to be obnoxious may be subject to a number of insults from anyone they piss off.  If you go out of your way to earn it, somebody is going to provide it.

My question would be WHY? Is it PC for Black and not Whites.

I can even at this age remember my dad Whipped My Ass, big time for saying the "n" word. But back then it was not that it was not PC.  Back then you (Dad) just had respect for everyone.  Times were hard and everyone help each other be the best they could.

It's amazing how this silly PC culture buys into the same tactic time and again.  In a system that is by definition majority rule, it is appalling how many can't comprehend two simple words. 

If you aren't in the majority then you are entitled to your lawful rights.  That should be the extent of it.

The blacks decided in the civil rights era to go counterculture and have damaged the country severely.  Always seemed to me it was the height of stupidity to shit in your food bowl.

Islam is out to do even worse and is far worse.  We can no longer afford the luxury of tolerance, it is suicide when the one you accept on an equal basis is a sworn enemy capable of demonstrated savagery worse than we've ever seen.

So what if someone is offended when they are in the minority.  It should not be tried by the media.  There are legal recourse if the offense violates the law.  Otherwise shut the f**k up.

The muddle east's tactic is to use all means available to achieve dominance.  Tolerance of islam is a mortal error.

My idea on being offended is, if I had no intention of offending you, then it's your problem.
If I intended to offend, then I will deal with the consequences.

By using the word nigger in a sentence is not offensive if it was not directed at anyone.

Walkstall I have the same recollection and it was right then and is right now.  It would be a better country if that had remained the case and prudent decisions made at all levels on that basis.

I think it matters to consider that liberalism isn't about politics at all. It's about religion, or rather it IS religion to its practitioners. Liberals reject traditional religions because liberalism cannot coexist with any of them. And liberals offer their own beliefs as a substitute to fulfill that basic human need that has spawned all religions.

All religions seek to guide human behavior. Christians, for example, offer "Ten Commandments," not "Ten Suggestions" or "Ten Really Cool Ideas." All religions are centered on a select group of people telling everyone else how to live their lives. Islam uses the structure of government to openly force its subjects into submission. Liberalism is sneakier. It uses government to mask what's going on with phrases like "equal opportunity" and "civil rights" and "level playing field." Liberals openly, publicly, vehemently decry any trace of religion in government or public life, while at the same time liberalism IS a religion that is actively trying to take over every aspect of government and public life.

Liberals have placed "nigger" on a list of words that only the sanctified may use, along with other "trigger" words like "wetback" and "faggot." The list grows as liberals seek to capture votes in blocs, rather than by winning minds and hearts. Are all blacks liberals? Of course not. None of the groups "protected" by liberals are primarily made up of liberals. Only about 20% of respondents to a recent poll identified themselves as liberals. But liberals work overtime telling these groups that only liberals can protect them, and everyone else is out to destroy them.

We ain't allowed to use those words. We ain't sanctified.
