This is so true...

QuoteThis is a man who railed against his political opponents and talked about having fresh ideas. We could allow that perhaps he's had a change of heart and has given up on the ancient ideas of collectivism. Never the less, it's most likely he's lost touch with history and reality. Not only did he lose badly to Comrade Clinton, but he's been flogging the same old ideas for years now.

He should realize that his ideology was based on ancient ideas expressed 501 years ago in Sir Thomas More's book Utopia [Published in 1516].

No he doesn't. And that is because he has never read a book in his life. He doesn't know who More or Engels are. He probably heard of Marx but I doubt he ever read him. Sanders is simply a lazy man who is envious of people who have more than him and thinks the government should make his life easy.

:lol: :lol: :lol:  Does 'crazy' Bernie realize anything?????

Yes, actually. Being in congress is how to make big money while doing absolutely nothing. In other words he realized how to live off the taxpayers.

Does the conservative movement need Ted Cruz more than ever? not only because he is actually brilliant but sadly also out of his ethnicity? To the leftists he is a "white latino" and with white identity alt-righter's starting to take over the right wing narrative with the help of the MSM I don't see anyone fighting against it. Even Thomas Sowell is retired, and deservedly so but he is needed now more than ever.

As for OP it is very ironic that a piece of satire is today an demonic homicidal ideology that consumes over half of mankind. When reading Utopia you have to be insane to think "yeah that sounds great".

Alt-right is a leftist created term in an attempt to tag Libs that abandoned the Dim party, when in fact, these people are Alt-Left, many went in varying directions, some to the GOP, while others went to the LIB-ertarian movement, but a large contingency joined the Neo NAZI, New Socialists movement, a natural migration for angry leftists with no knowledge of history.

The leftist media ran with the new nomenclature in an attempt to get out ahead of the true nature of their migration, but the truth is, they're just another hate group rooted on the left.
Their one problem is ignoring the fact that NAZI = Nationalist Socialist, where socialism is in no way linkable to the Right, so it's been an impossible feat to make the term, stick, that is unless you're a braindead lib, which is a descriptor for most of their base today which is now irrelevant since the Dim party imploded.

That is interesting, and I have heard of studies showing that radical totalitarians have no problem shifting from the left wing socialist extreme, to the so called "right wing" extreme of fascism.

After all, most if not all of the members of the both the Black Shirts in Italy and SA members under Ernst Röhm were former Communists/Socialists.

Hmm seems that the Norwegian Wiki on Ernst Röhm has a funny little side note that is conveniently removed/ignored on the english wiki;

This is absolutely true in Europe, where Benito founded the Fascist party, however here in the US, Fascism is solidly rooted in the left end of the political spectrum, in that there is no history of dictatorships on the Right, only the left.

In the US, the far left end of the spectrum shares anarchy with Communism, while the Extreme Right end holds our Founders image of a Republican form of Govt, beyond the right, is nothing, it was where the spectrum begins.
Too many in the US believe the spectrum starts in the middle, but truth is, it starts with a Bill of Rights and a Constitution, and from there, moves left until it's final demise into anarchy, followed by a total dictatorship as in Communism.
