This was said by some poster whose name i have forgotten

but yeh, I was wondering if you also think they are the dumbest people?

I have always (since following news, not fake news) thought this, that there is something definitely .. um.. not too brilliant, shall we say, about how the dems think (asuming you can use that word)

although maybe it has less to do with brain cells and such... than it has to do with.. I don't know.. hmmm... I am thinking about this.. don't know what to say. I think the poster was right.. they are just dumb and it is as simple as that..

Brainwashed as kids. Let's face the reality that we believed what our teachers taught us in history classes even though we found out it was all BS years later.
While Republicans are busy  earning a living and growing their businesses the leftists were seeking government jobs with the absolute intent of ruining our country.

yeh, why would anyone vote for a life long politician rather than someone like Trump who actually had a life b4 becoming president?

Abraham Lincoln... sigh.. He was the perfect example of all that is best in this country... rose from rags to riches.. but wanted to be president for the right reasons... etc...

"dumb" doesn't necessarily mean stupid.  It's kind of like a stubborn mule and the old farmer who says I can get him to do anything I tell him, then smacks him hard right between the blinkers with a two by four and the farmer say, but first I've got to get his attention!
There's so much political crap, lots of folk are numb to the truth. As I right his, I recall the story of the lady at the polical rally who called out to Harry Truman, "Give em Hell, Harry!" to which he responded, " I just give them the truth and they think it's Hell"  The name " Give em ell Harry, stuck".  It was a memorable line.

yeh, for sure, i can relate to that highlighted part. The Left find truth to be hell

They hate it (for example) that abortion actually means killing someone..

they do not care, though... but i think every day Dems do care and that is why there are far more pro life dems in the everyday population than people might think. The DC Left think all lefties think like them... God forbid

Yup. I guess I made a typo.

I do typos all the time and don't capitalize. It doesn't mean I don't know how to do that, just that I am

lazy

Even "English teachers" get lazy. Anyway, as to your point, yeh, Dems' elevators don't go all the way to the top

not all their oars are in the water

Did you hear the Good News!  (sound like a door knocking Bible Thumper, don't I)  This week President Trump made a commitment to have bible study in public school.  The Far Left Wackos have gotten by the separation of church and state by allowing more school to allow study of the Koran and Muslim Beliefs as a part of their history curriculum' Pay Back's gonna be a Bitch!  While they be teaching about Muhamed's 8 year old "wife" we'll be teaching about morals and right and wrong and love and peace and forgiveness of sins.  There's  an Intelligent Designer working on this new curriculum!

wow, thanks for the good news!

I always thought the Bible should be taught in schools for the simple reason that to be ignorant of the Bible is to be very ignorant.. Everyone should know what they are for or against.. should really know it.

plus there is a lot of history in the Bible.. and no one understands Christians unless he 1) is one or 2) has read the Bible

plus we just want to save people..

I'm old enough to remember prayer in school when I was in elementary school.  Later we were bussed to a Christian indoctrination center with a note from our parents.  It was as traumatic as duck and cover drills, hiding under our desks, staying awy from the windows because of the chance of them blowing out from a bomb blast and the 16mm Civil Defense B&W movies about nuclear war and fall out.  No wonder so many kids rebelled in the 60's when nothing happened, except you couldn't say a prayer in school at the beginning of the day.

Praying or not was just a normal way to begin each day and as routine as standing for the pledge of allegiance.  When the ruling against prayer in school came down the reaction was to bus us out to some Christian center with a note from home.  I grew up feeling at home and very comfortable with my own church and bible study groups.  The sent us to some other weird denomination's hall (probably chosen because they had a big hall) and I felt very awkward and uncomfortable and confused.  I guess the adults all knew what was going on politically and decided that PREACHING at kids was the best wa to combat the injustice!

so you are saying you were preached at too much?

I wasn't preached at enough.

I was raised in a family that was Christian on Sunday and that was about it. But thank God i had at least that. God knows what wouldve happened if i hadn't had at least that. So i am thankful.

did you rebel too much? is that what you are implying?
