It won't work.  The teachers in the public schools are STILL a bunch of atheists and Satan worshippers, so if THEY "teach" the Bible, it will probably be something like,

I don't think they are dumb people I just think they are misinformed. I have a friend who used to be a dem and is now conservative. It all depends on the indoctrination you receive in school as well as the way you are raised. Me, I was raised to hate the dems from a young age. Some are opposite of that. But to cast a shadow like that over every liberal, as much as I disagree with their policies, I don't think is right.

It is a different time now. I think what I wanted to get across is not some apology for them or sympathy, but the fact that people can and do change their opinions. I don't like this original posters initial term of dumbest people, which I think is just inflammatory. Their ideas are certainly dumb, but as people I don't think they are. As I stated earlier, plenty of people are leftists in their twenties and then become conservatives later in life. There is just so much indoctrination now, its hard for kids especially and even young adults to get a conservative viewpoint.

I could not agree more. Beliefs are formed when you are young and that is why the left took over the education system. Some people are capable of changing their beliefs as  they get older but most just keep repeating what they learned at an early age. That is why people usually stay with their religion, veterans usually come from families with a history of service and so many follow the politics of their parents. Then the leftist run schools starting teaching kids that their parents were wrong and they need to listen to them instead. With two working parents many gladly ceded that responsibility to the schools as a free babysitting service.

Yep, that was another evil ploy in the big scheme of things, break of the American nuclear family unit. They started with the black family and now they're trying to subjugate families from the Southern border.
Problem is, they're historically Christian and have already seen first hand what the Marxists did to blacks.

More likely then not, its how you are raised. My father hates democrats, like hates them. My mother on the other hand is very liberal, advocating for the banning of assault rifles on the Sandy Hook Promise and supporting a UBI. This juxtaposition gave me a taste of both viewpoints. Not to say my mother didn't influence me when I was younger, I took up conservatism because it made sense to me.

We live in a state now where educational institutions have a large influence on people. Sure, not everyone who goes to college or is exposed to liberalism at a young age take it up because it is sold to them as the 'correct' and 'moral' way to take the country, when most all of them have no morals themselves.
