Do you accept his premise?

I don't accept the premise that "obviously we are not going to deport them" made by the President.

Has anyone challenged that?  It's like saying that obviously, we are not going to arrest all those murderers.  These are law breakers, and the President said we are a nation of laws (maybe with fingers crossed behind his back).

What laws do we now enforce, and who gets to decide?  Can I rob a bank if I truly need money?

Can I commit arson if I am angry?

These are bad times for our nation.

Twenty one days ago, we had an election where WE, TEA, took the nation in a landslide, both Houses are on Christmas break, the Freshmen haven't taken their seats, yet here you are demanding something be done immediately?
Can we give it a rest and bask in glory of the fact that we have the enemy sitting rocks in both party's?

It's beyond me as to why you insist in seeing the worst in every occasion, it really is.
We won, for crying out loud, can't you just enjoy this moment before Congress gets back to work?

I've been where she is...feeling lower than whaleshit (and whale shit don't float!) about ...well everything!  So much so, I had to recharge myself by taking time away and stop obsessing about everything they are doing or they are not doing.  I can now really appreciate the corner we have turned.

I think I began to lose it when the TEA movement seemed to disappear during Obama's 2nd run at the country.  Later, I found the criminals had illegally stiffeled us and the GOP wasn't going to fight any more than the media.  It was depressing.

BUT, Obama's overreaching, as well as the blowout of the Obamacare roll out and the demonstrated Leaderhip of a few Republicans began to give me hope.  I've returned!!!

BTW; I never completedly gave up. I just figured that since all politics is local, I'd drop my pebble in the local pond and run for a Republican Committee post.  Now, I have a voice in helping to select the Republican candidates we select! (RINOs need not apply!)

We won?  The mid-term vote determined that the GOP should control both the House and Senate.  But, we have far from won; that remains to be seen.  We WILL win IF we can stop the overreach of this president.  We WILL win if we are able to overturn some of Obama's legislation.  We WILL win IF we can stop Obama from acting without the consent of Congress.  So far, no one has been able to do any of the aforementioned.

Thinking that this president is going to miraculously start complying and honoring the Constitution just because we have the majority, considering what he's done in the past six years is a bit unrealistic.  He has no honor, no integrity and has placed himself above the rule of law.  NOTHING he has done so far would indicate otherwise.

I was the same way.  After 2012, I was just a beaten man.  I didn't really post for a few months.  But we bounce back, and now the Dems got their asses kicked.  We just have to keep fighting and fighting.

I can't claim credit for that, that is an old Japanese saying that dates to the time of the SHogunate, meant to teach rambunctious warriors the virtue of patience, self control and discipline.

Just curious, but did you know that the Freshmen won't take their perspective seats till Jan of next year?
I ask, only because it appears that you're under the illusion that nothing changed, even though the law prohibits the new class from taking power.
So lets recap. WE WON!!!! The next Congress will seize power from several rino and a shitload of Dims, you know, because WE WON!

So let me see if I follow your logic. Because we only had the Senate, and Reid refused to allow any Bills reach the Marxists desk, and now that we made Reid a minority leader with no clout....
Stay with me here, I think I'm getting it..

Nothing has or will change, because we now have the majority, does that about sum up your logic?

Well logistically and legally he's right. That's why the Democrats always get away with this.

Legally, he's wrong, but he usually is. Logistically and politically, he's right.

But I think it's time we get the message out that the entire problem exists in the first place because politicians of every stripe have for years and years failed to enforce the laws on the books. Deporting every Mexican that wades across the Rio Grande is easy if you do it quickly and steadily and faithfully, one at a time. But if you sit on your ass or look the other way until there are tens of millions of illegals that have been here for 5, 10, 15 years, you have a massive logistical and political problem. Our government has been sitting on its ass and looking the other way for a very long time, allowing the problem to grow into the behemoth it is now.

While the problem hasn't changed in nature over the last six years, the Kenyan has plainly fed it some steroids.
