Just curious, but did you know that the Freshmen won't take their perspective seats till Jan of next year?
I ask, only because it appears that you're under the illusion that nothing changed, even though the law prohibits the new class from taking power.
So lets recap. WE WON!!!! The next Congress will seize power from several rino and a shitload of Dims, you know, because WE WON!

So let me see if I follow your logic. Because we only had the Senate, and Reid refused to allow any Bills reach the Marxists desk, and now that we made Reid a minority leader with no clout....
Stay with me here, I think I'm getting it..

Nothing has or will change, because we now have the majority, does that about sum up your logic?

Yes Solar I know that the GOP won't have the majority in both Houses until January.  Give me a break here.  Solar all I am saying is Obama isn't playing by the rule of law now, so why do you think that will change?  He has side-stepped Congress and ignored his advisors on several occasions.  I don't see that changing. He's never been held accountable or responsible.  All he has to do is refuse to comply like he's been doing.  Who is going to stop him?  Just because bills reach his desk, doesn't mean that he's going to sign him.

Obama is like having a bad tenant who refuses to pay rent and the court orders him to pay and he still refuses and we sit by and continue to let him stay in the rental.  We then sell the property to a new owner. Knowing that the new owner will take over in a few months, we expect that they will be able to get him to pay rent just because they are the new owner.  Without starting eviction proceedings, the chances of the new owner collecting any rent or forcing the tenant out is slim to none.

I don't accept the premise that "obviously we are not going to deport them" made by the President.

Has anyone challenged that?  It's like saying that obviously, we are not going to arrest all those murderers.  These are law breakers, and the President said we are a nation of laws (maybe with fingers crossed behind his back).

What laws do we now enforce, and who gets to decide?  Can I rob a bank if I truly need money?

Can I commit arson if I am angry?

These are bad times for our nation.

What??? Hussein lied again??  NO WAY!!!!  Just when I thought he turned over a new leaf.

Daisy, thanks for bringing this to my attention.  You never fail highlighting the obvious.

The amount of illegals here gives the left the win on the issue. When the illegals are found we can't simply grab them and throw them over the fence. They get their day in court. They are processed and released. They are then sent a court date in the mail. But they know they will be ordered to be deported so they skip the court date and disappear. The only alternative is to arrest them then hold them until their court date and then deport them. Our jails and prisons are already maxed out. Not to mention how long it will take to get through the backlog of cases. We can't win this unless we shut down the border completely and then deal with those here. We can do it quickly and grant some amnesty of some sort or we do it slowly and seek them out, fast track the process and then deport them. I prefer the latter but the former may be more politically viable.

Actually, we can simply grab them and pitch them back over the fence. Who says otherwise? But you're correct in pointing out, not that we can't do that, but that we don't do that. The rest of the rigmarole and bullshit is... well, rigmarole and bullshit.

From here, no rational immigration policy can come into existence until the southern border is secure. Until that happens, there's really nothing to discuss.

That border would be secure if anyone in the administration wanted it secure.  By now, I see no reason to believe that it will ever be secure.

Yes we can throw them over the fence, if we catch them entering the country.

Tricky proposition when the Border Patrol post is more than 40 miles from the border, as some of them in West Texas are.

My real question is, has anyone (Republicans) even publicly challenged Obama's assertions?

Sure, I know he lies.  But who takes it on?

Does anyone believe it will be taken on?

Well, I'll point out the obvious answer to your question -- we take it on. There are dozens, no probably hundreds, of groups like the CPF who take on the Kenyan's bullshit every day. Don't make the mistake of underestimating what we and the millions of others on the internet every day can accomplish.

The elections went extremely well, Daisy. Give it some time, keep posting on CPF and anywhere else you can, don't give up the fight.

Hey, if Germany can get rid of 6 million Jews, we should have no problem getting rid of 5 million illegal immigrants.

I mean by deportation, of course...

Cute. Bizarre, but cute.

Actually, Germany started their campaign against Jews with "forced emigration" in mind. Madagascar was pretty empty in those days (pre-DreamWorks), so they figured to ship 'em all there. Time, however, was not on their side.

And for the record, most of the Jews Germany "got rid of" weren't German, or even in Germany.

I might be wrong, but I don't think there are many elected officials in our midst.

And since, unlike certain elements aligned with Marxist ideology controlling this country, we are not about to go riot in the streets, despite our numbers and sincere dedication, there is not much we can do but talk.

And, of course, vote...

Exactly! It was this very medium that brought about TEA. For one to claim nothing has changed, or stopped changing, is blind to the body of water blocking the view of the ocean.
