Actually yes, she has a phenomenal chance of stealing the district. It's mostly poor white and Mexican as well as Asian. It's a farming community, and her opponent is a white leftist that's done absolutely nothing for these people.
If you watch the video, she doesn't demean him in any way, she just points out that since he's been in office, not one thing has changed, while she talks about schools, and the things most important to the community.

Many of the Asians in the area were farm workers before the Mexicans, they're dying for someone like her, that's why you haven't heard about her yet, this is a total grassroots campaign, she's knocking on doors and actually working in the community. They love her.

Outstanding. I lived in the Gulf states in the 70's and 80's and many SE Asians settled in the area after the Vietnam war. They assimilated into the business culture and took over the fishing industry in south MS. Hard working folks who desire to succeed. I wish her the best.

So True AM, and they've been abused by the left. Many attended UC Davis and just like Whites get placed last on admissions, and it doesn't stop there, the Asian community isn't big on govt handouts because it means govt tracking of your private life, so many see govt as a cudgel to be used against them since most came in fear for their lives of a communist govt.
Yeah, all they know of govt is, it only harms and they recognize the type of govt Dims want to create.

News flash, most Asians...including the one I'm married to, are staunch conservatives.  Freemarket capitalists and confirmed Anti Socialists.  I would say Vietnamese top the list, followed by Non Mainland China Chinese or Perhaps Koreans. Interesting that those three ethnicities have suffered the most at the hands of the communists.
