We are better off saying that a candidate represents the GOP Tea Party.

The problem is, any legitimate conservative candidate saying / doing this............ needs to fully assess everybody in the congress as part of their candidacy, and explain who he or she is actually WITH, and NOT with.  They would also have to live a perfectly clean life WRT Tea Party values and philosophy; not one hedge or jive or sneaky BS EVER.

That's where it's tough for the candidate.  They have to literally say "the following people are liars, and not part of the Tea Party movement."  And name ALL of the names.  And explain all the detailed reasons / history of why that's true.  Tear the scab off big time.

It's effectively what Trump did, aided by the big brawl that was the primary.  He just didn't go into the level of detail and naming all of the names.  The next person probably needs to.

Even tougher is their follow-on assignment.  If elected, you would literally have to go to DC as a kamikaze political suicide bomber.  From day one, guaranteeing that you have no career there, just one term of total brawling and calling everybody out.  Do what you did in your campaign for your whole term.  You'd get no chairmanship, your office would be in a stairwell or bathroom, 90% of the people you see day to day would hate your guts.

What a glorious patriotic undertaking.  You might just get re-elected doing all that, but the hell with it if you don't.  Do NOT do one single solitary political asskiss, that's for the liars and cheaters.

Now to find THAT person.  Good luck with that.  Trump may be the one in a generation.  Cruz may not be up to it totally, he's a politician.  Who else ya got ?

Provocative and sound comments, as any true leader must be able to call a spade a
spade; an attribute our Founders had, when they confronted the powerful British Crown.
Often I have recalled Machiavelli's dictum that leaders must be able to radiate fear
in their enemies, yet the Nellies insist that this would be grossly imprudent and
mean as well as bad manners.
If and when a leader emerges, he will intuitively know that fear is a vital impulse
he will have to instill in his enemies, in order to succeed; as the existing power
structure will not change nor will they experience a "Come to Jesus moment."
