I am not only concerned about Russia, but my main concern is with Iran.  Bammy/Kerry's 'nuke' deal with Iran (or did Trump rescind?) was calculated to allow them to have more leverage over the U.S. in the area.

Russia and Iran are backing Syria. Iran isn't a surprise, but I thought that Russia might do a little clean-up and use Syria as a bargaining chit. So we've now got a game of "I dare you.". Syria has the power to launch another chem attack and provoke a response between the US, Russia, and Iran. That's not good. If Syria does use chems, then we can risk a response from Russia or begin talks with their "alliance". But we've taken a stand now. If Syria uses their chems and we don't respond then we'll look weak. I'm thinking that Trump will ask congress to weigh in on that decison.

My thoughts are, this may be the last you hear of this. No one (Russia, Iran nor Syria) wants to escalate this, the Dims liked the fact that he did it (their Marxist leader embarrassed them), the Warhawks and Pentagon are happy and the public isn't outraged.
Any escalation from the left will no doubt expose that Kerry and Rice lied about WMD complete removal, also proves Bush right in his claims over WMD, a wound they hoped was closed.

I hope you are correct; that neither Russia, Iran or Syria wants to escalate this.  Stories continue to surface that Rice lied...Kerry is still proclaiming that they removed 100% of WMD's; yet he has given his approval of Trump's actions (for what that's worth).  The question then ... what does the U.S. do from here? Lady Graham has stated that he thinks we should send 6,000 troops into the area.  As for the public, many Trump supporters are outraged as he supposedly campaigned on no further involvement. Savage and Beck are saying that this was a false flag presented to Trump and he reacted and now we are on the very brink of WWIII.  I only started to listen to Savage recently.  Say what you want about Beck; but he's been pretty accurate in his predictions.

So that means Russia responds angrily to one sock puppet for attacking another sock puppet.

I heard that "False Flag" stuff as well, but I see it more as an opportunity to show the world he's willing to stand up to terrorist dictators.
Whether or not it was presented to him by another country, I think is a bit of a stretch, I don't think he had much option, deal with it or don't and he did, but I'd have to say they are wrong about WWIII, no one will benefit from all out war.
Trump can claim cover by Bush's resolution over WMD in Iraq, which we all know is where these chemicals came from, so Trump merely claims a continuation in pursuit of an earlier approval, to rid the M/E of WMD.

Trump already proved, he has no interest in keeping his campaign promises so I don't think he really cares what the Trumpanzees think, though I really enjoy watching them fall all apart every time he proves us Right, that he's still a lib.
