You do realize that 5,000,000 were just told that they don't have to obey our laws --- what incentive is there for them to become legit?  Many already have obtained SS cards, driver's licenses etc.  You do realize that he invited millions more into this country and basically told them they don't have to obey our immigration laws. Don't expect many of these people to "sign up" so that they can be identified and "tracked"  Why would they?  They've successfully played the system and with millions more on the way, there still is no way to track these people.  These millions will also expect FREE food, housing and medical.

Exactly how is this country going to sustain this influx, when we can't continue to sustain the illegals that are already draining the system?

The reality of the situation is it doesn't matter whether Obama did things legally or not --AMNESTY was granted.  They are here.  They are not going away.  These will be the new Democratic voters of 2016.

It can also just be ignored or reversed by the next POTUS! If it's no renewed it just dies. I say ignore it and start working on real law to secure the border after that we can deal with MR. Obama's shirking of our immigration laws !!

And that's just it, the law was passed long ago to seal the borders. What would the Marxist do if that were to happen?

Here is what I suspect will happen, they will pass a modified CR till sometime in February, and once the new house is settled in, they'll go about doing the business we elected them to do,......For the first time in more than a hundred years.

Remember the ruling against Arizona's immigration law? The fed court held that it was CONGRESS'S power to determine immigration policy! What would happen if both the House and the Senate in answer to that ruling passed a resolution upholding the border states right act? A resolution wouldn't have to go to the president because by the court it is Congress not the president that has power over immigration. Holder would have to Sue again but this time The House and the Senate would be at the defense table to!

This seems to be the correct read.

Obama knows nothing but the political gambit for right now, and more importantly the thing that makes HIM look good (magnanimous).

Whereas he really can't even see the ramifications of a year or 2 or 3 from now.

He dreams of the glory that this gives him for 3-12 months, but leaves a bit of a hole in the 2016 scenario, where this will fall short and piss off a lot of illegals and socialists.  And give the conservatives an opening.

Why not push to have each branch of our military open training camps to train in "insurgent" detection and interception at each one of our border states. seems like a great training opportunity for the troops! Give each boarder state to a branch of the service with orders to the admirals and generals in those areas TO STOP IT!!
