Democratic Senator Dianne Feinstein called for the Senate Judiciary
Committee to investigate former attorney general Loretta Lynch instructing
James Comey to mislead the public about the Clinton email investigation.
Something tells me the old leftists are trying to bring back the old party and the best way is by airing out the basement.
She knows Clinton baggage drags the party down allowing the Marxists a better foothold.
This is extremely convoluted and hard to explain, but the base abandoned the party for this very reason, lack of accountability and now Feinstein along with some of the old blood know they have no other option or they lose the party forever.

Comey testified on Thursday that Lynch instructed him, without explanation, to call the investigation into Hillary Clinton's use a private email server as secretary of a state a "matter" instead of an investigation. Lynch's request, Comey said, made him feel "queasy" as it appeared she was "looking to align the way we talked about our work with the way the political campaign was describing the same activity, which was inaccurate." "I would have a queasy feeling, too," Feinstein admitted in a Sunday morning interview on CNN. "I think we need to know more about that and there's only way to know about it, and that's to have the judiciary committee take a look at that."

I was taken aback by that statement as well. I am sure you will get a memo from Schumer. I did note from the hearing that CA has successfully replaced Boxer with another leftist loon with Harris.

That's pretty much my theory, though I think it's a little, wayyy too late. I've no doubt this has the backing of Fuglosi and the Spirit Cooking crowd, who, it would appear has lost complete control of the party to the Marxist Perez.
This battle for party control is not going to end well, not to mention their complete financial collapse in the process.
Had the Dim party heeded my warning long ago, they could have avoided this by feigning a move right of the GOP and cater exclusively to the LIBertarian movement and claim they are all about Liberty.
Of course, you and I know they are not and never have been about Liberty, but they missed a golden opportunity to hold onto their base and capture another generation in the process.
I still halfway expect the party will try a move there but the new party will win the debate and move further left.
