Wasn't this the plan before - repeal and push to the states. Is there anything new here? The claim is that some Dims will go with it this time but I'm not seeing the how this changes the obstruction mentality. Wouldn't need McCain if this worked - but then the Dims would neutralize their RINO hero.

Yawn.

I couldn't help putting this "new" approach under the title of this topic as it is so obfuscated. They keep moving sand from one hole to another and calling it new.

From http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2017/09/11/exclusive-utah-gov-gary-herbert-obamacare-block-grant-repeal-vast-improvement-over-the-affordable-care-act/

... which gives some detail of how the Block Grants would be allocated. I think you need calculus and a rubber chicken to waive over the words to understand it. With this approach we end up with the Feds controlling block grants and the states allocating health care. Wow - that sounds like a great idea!

There is one potentially valid point from the article / approach. In the midst of the obviously extremely broken state of our health care and our government. This approach is cited to model the only approach that has been successful to roll back an entitlement. I guess if there are enough shells in the game to cover the nut, then those dependents lose track.

We don't need your help government. Full repeal! Let the free market do it's work.
