Tea party activists looking to oust Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell in a GOP primary may get some help from an unlikely source: Democrats.
Big Democratic donors, local liberal activists and a left-leaning super PAC in Kentucky are telling tea partiers that they are poised to throw financial and organizational support behind a right-wing candidate should one try to defeat the powerful GOP leader in a 2014 primary fight.

Dims are playing with fire.
Strengthening your enemies enemy is never a good idea, when the enemy you strengthen has the majority on their side.
I hope they repeat this all over the country.

The strategy worked pretty well in Missouri when Democrats helped get Todd Akin the nomination.
McConnell for all his faults has actually been quite effective against Reid. McConnell is one of the main reasons why Reid tables so many bills...
When you get the fringe candidates like what happened in Missouri and Indiana(2 sure winners went poof) then look what you get--i will back McConnell--in fact i will send a donation to his campaign.

Missou is a Republican state and, prior to Akin's rape comments, it was a near certainty McCaskill was going to lose. I can't recall a Democrat, in a Democratic state equatable, that had the same thing happen to them.
Regardless, cheer up, McConnell is probably going to win his primary and general elections handily.
