In a way, I'm very pleased with the shenanigans in Wisconsin. FINALLY, the true nature of the core lefties is being shown on even the MSM every night! Bitter little socialist children! Waaaahhh!  >:( >:( >:(

Even some of the lefty pundits are beginning to criticize the Dems and unions in WI -- you know it's bad when they don't think they can get around it with the usual bullshit.

I feel a little remorse after reading your post.... I quit watching the alphabet news so I am missing out it seems. Our Pravda Media is now sharing a little truth on what is going on in WI? Wow! I am shocked!

I LIKE Kasich!

One day after thousands of Senate Bill 5 opponents crammed the Statehouse to voice their anger with lawmakers pushing collective bargaining reform, Governor John Kasich said he is optimistic the legislation will pass with the changes he wants to see enacted.

"I am very optimistic that there will be a meeting of the minds between the people who are moving this bill and our operation, and I think we'll get there. I feel very good about it," Kasich told reporters Friday afternoon.

"What we're trying to do is to restore some power in management. We want to narrow the scope of bargaining. We want to eliminate the right to strike, but we want people to talk, sit down, negotiate, get through this whole thing."

Hundreds to Protest Bill 5 on Saturday
The following is a press release issued by the AFL-CIO:
:D :D :D

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Hundreds of workers, students and community members are expected to gather at the State House to rally against Senate Bill 5, a measure that would strip hard-working nurses, teachers, firefighters and other public service workers of their rights in the hopes of destroying unions, and Gov. Kasich's partisan assault on Ohio's middle class.

People will gather to hear personal accounts of how Senate Bill 5 will affect Ohio workers and then hit the streets to spread the word to friends and neighbors during a neighborhood canvass.

The event is part of a National Day of Action in all fifty states being held in solidarity with workers and community members in Ohio, Wisconsin and other states who are opposing legislation, like SB 5, that is anti-worker and anti-community.

- What: Rally and Neighborhood Walk

- When: Saturday, February 26th at Noon

Booooooooooooooooooooo.

- Where:  State House at the corner of South High and East Broad Streets, Columbus

I posted yesterday about some of the folks that are organizing these rallies behind the scenes.

Oh, and WELCOME to the forum, Michelle!  :D

They yell shame while instead of debating, Democrats continue to get paid while vacationing in another state instead of doing their job.  Of course with teachers "sick" instead of educating the children they spent six years of their own lives to do, there isn't much room left for who gets the prize for the most shameless among them.  We hear about greed from many union members harping on "the rich" to pay "their fair share".  In the long run they are the same as those they complain the loudest about.  I'd love to see what each public union president makes for a TOTAL salary and benefits.  Here are the salary of the two biggest unions in New York:

You and me both!  :P :P :P It's nice to have a governor who's not afraid to tell you what he thinks. If a teleprompter could talk, it'd sound like Ted Strickland, I think...

If gas wasn't $3.40 a gallon, I'd cruise on into Columbus and throw peanuts at the collected collectivists. (Oh, wait, that's a reference to violence, isn't it? Shame, tbone, shame!)

Thank you! I think I have now found a nice to find place where I can openly modulate my opinions  (AND FACTS- which Dems seems to have NO idea on what the word 'Fact" even means) and perhaps find intelligent people who know how to communicate without saying the words  Duh or Huh?

My mother once said- Perhaps if I became less passionate about our government and more passionate about being passive--- I'd be married again. LOL

My mother is from the old school of FDR.  God, I wonder if the milkman was a Republican. THEN I'd know where I inherited my political views and values.

Nice to Meet you Tbone0106 :D.

I LOVE Kasich!

He has passion and conviction in what he says and does politically! Many lack these traits. He would be one of my top few favs for President of the USA.

Btw, on the subject of marriage, your're entirely too young to get married! Wait until you are at least 55 to tie the knot! This is fun time! Enjoy, I say!  ;)
