I don't think he ever had any strong points. He was always a follower never a leader like he tries to portray himself as. Sad when he has to invoke Hillary and Obama all the time. He's misses the point that his party has been hijacked by people who think those two aren't far enough left.

It's important to note that our forecast accounts for the possibility of candidates dropping out. e.g., we actually have Bernie as the favorite in SC. But we estimate there's virtually no chance of Bernie dropping out before SC whereas there is one (like ~20%) for Biden.

Conditional on remaining in the race, Biden is probably the favorite in SC. But his decision on whether to stay or quit is itself affected by political conditions, so the model can't just assume that he stays in.
