I pose a question to the libs on the forum regarding the future of the Dem party. What do you honestly think will happen, as opposed to what you want to happen?
Read the following statements below, knowing the likes of Pelosi and the current leadership are most likely on their way out and Sandersian style leftists are about to seize the party.
What does its future hold, will the new leadership move to abolish capitalism for Nationalizing business, or retain the old ideals of the party?

Pelosi: Democrats are capitalists

During a CNN town hall, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi was asked if the democratic party could move more left on economics to which she replied, "We're capitalist."

Now Bernie, on the obverse side of the coin.

When Bernie Sanders is asked if he is a capitalist, he answers flatly: "No." Sanders is a socialist, and socialism is not capitalism, and there is no possibility of healing the ideological rift between the two. Liberals believe that the economic and political system is a machine that has broken down and needs fixing. Leftists believe that the machine is not "broken." Rather, it is working perfectly well; the problem is that it is a death machine designed to chew up human lives. You don't fix the death machine, you smash it to bits.

Pretty good article hits the high spots, but as everyone knows you campaign in poetry and govern in prose. I actually have no idea what's next, but these things will sort out as primary season unfolds next year when the best poet emerges.
A couple of things I feel strongly about:
Hillary is toast.  She's not interested and couldn't get elected dog catcher.
The sooner Pulosi is gone the better, can't stand her.
Bernie is too old and too pie in the sky.
Biden is too old and will call over his gaffe prone tongue.
Warren is also too old and doesn't have been the stones.

Many dems are dipping their toes, who knows who will emerge, maybe a Corey Booker?  As Trump says, we'll see.

It is not the who that is sinking the democrat party but the what as is how far to the left and radical left they are moving. There will have to be a huge reversal just to come back to the middle and their base will not allow it.

Yeah, quite enlightening as well as a refreshing article.

My actual question was regarding which way will the party go? I agree essentially with your points on the candidates, but age? Never discount wisdom.
But I meant ideologically speaking, will they retain the same path, move further left, or possibly right towards a more libertarian approach towards smaller govt in the lives of the people?

After you go to polls next November check back with us as to how the election went.
