I couldn't agree more with this article. Certainly Trump couldn't be naive enough to think that just because Congressmen have an R by their names that they were going to go along with Rino Ryan?  It would seem that Trump didn't care what was in the bill as long as it passed. Not good.  Not good at all.  If Gorsuch isn't confirmed that will be two major, major strikes against him.  I can't help but think that perhaps my original thought of Trump empowering the people he supposedly opposed has been his intent all along.

They tried to repeal it.  But were forced to change it cause the American people hated the original version.

The American people want more federal coverage, not left.

Quite a plan, what I feared the most.    Throw the Conservatives a few bones, roll back a few executive orders - but, savage the Republicans, Conservatives, etc., because you never believed all that crap anyways.   Govern with a typical Leftist style, trade executive orders, just make a few (very public and well publicized) moves, talking points, and let it all flounder.... blame the party, which you were never really apart of.   Turn left and hit the gas, petal to the metal.

What are the odds of Neil Gorsuch getting on the  SCOTUS...?   They just backed him up a week, so that means he might not get a vote now?   

Has anyone else noticed the Executive Orders are not necessarily being scratched?   I haven't seen the actual wording, but we've all heard President Trump say, several times, 'I am ordering this agency to PROVIDE RELIEF .... ' - is that the way it works, the EO isn't scratched off the books, repealed, "provide relief"....?    During one of the broadcasts, I said, "what did he say...?    I thought those Obama EOs were going away, what's this "relief" business he's talking about...   What happened to REPEAL?   Does this mean the original EO stands and is "enforced a little nicer"?  I hope I'm dead wrong about the way I'm hearing this.

Nope.  I'm looking at things the same way.  Flynn is gone.  Sessions has recused himself.  What about the rest of Trump's cabinet?? I haven't heard of any more appointments.  I too thought the Trump was going to rescind all of Bammy's E.O.  Yes, then he sided with Ryan on tweaking the existing healthcare plan rather than repeal.  Ryan supposedly is now saying repeal, but Trump is vowing to go after the Freedom Caucus!  So ... what the heck??  As for Gorsuch, my hunch is there won't be enough votes to nuke him through.  Funding for the wall is being stalled. So at this moment; no wall, no repeal and no conservative justice.  Meanwhile ... Trump/Putin are being investigated for tampering with the election and Flynn is willing to testify if granted immunity!

I have no fear they will find anything. The Russians were not involved, except perhaps a bit of rhetoric here and there, nothing of which changed any minds one way or the other. The so-called hacks have already been debunked, and the Clinton info released came from domestic sources. The only evidence available, and/or charges filed relating to vote fraud is against the dims.

It's all smoke and mirrors. The progs are spinning like tops to explain how they lost an election that was predicted to end in a foregone conclusion. Heck, you look at our own threads prior to the election and the majority here were anticipating Clinton finishing the job of destruction began decades ago and accelerated under Obama. Over 1000 legislative seats in the states gone over to 'Pubs, 9 governor seats, and they lost both houses of the U.S. congress.
