I find it funny that they even mention OPEC, as if it has any say in how much we produce.
No matter what happens, oil prices will fall, America will once again be a leader in manufacturing due to low energy cost.
From truck and transportation to consumer purchasing, seeking American made goods.

'Relentless' growth could see the US topple Russia, Saudi Arabia as world's largest oil producer, IEA says
"This year promises to be a record-setting one for the U.S.," the IEA said in its closely-watched report published Friday
The latest monthly report from the IEA comes at a time when crude futures have climbed to highs not seen since the early days of a slump in December 2014
One of the main beneficiaries of OPEC-led production cuts is the producers' major competitor, U.S. shale oil. U.S. oil producers are staging a dramatic comeback amid a recovering oil price that has allowed many of them to restart operations.

The U.S. is well-placed to overtake the likes of Saudi Arabia and Russia as the world's leading energy producer over the next 12 months, according to the latest monthly report from the International Energy Agency (IEA).

"This year promises to be a record-setting one for the U.S.," the IEA said in its closely-watched report published Friday.

"Relentless growth should see the U.S. hit historic highs above 10 million barrels a day (in production), overtaking Saudi Arabia and rivaling Russia during the course of 2018 — provided OPEC and non-OPEC restraints remain in place," the Paris-based organization added.

But, but, but...what about the wind turbines and solar panels?  Aren't they what Obama pushed for 8 years?

Funny you would mention that.
I was just reading an article where Trump might come down on these Raptor Cuisinarts for killing endangered birds as well as anything that flies, including bats.
He's considering fines, or flat out de-permitting them and forcing them to be removed altogether.
I say right on, the whole idea of wind generation is stupid because it can't stand alone and make a profit without Taxpayer subsidies.
The more I see Trump in action, the more I believe he will go down as one of the greatest Presidents in history.

And let us not forget the natural gas which is a natural by product of oil exploration. There are plenty of gas wells in the Gulf that are capped. Those can also be put into production if prices justify the expense of extracting. Gas is the real threat to Russia as the USA could replace Russia as the main supplier to Europe.

It's the only thing bleeding hearts understand. You need to create mental images for these morons, all they know is wind is nonpolluting, problem is, it comes at the expense of millions of lives, birds, something they claim to protect by locking up private wetlands.
Quite the conundrum for these idiots to reconcile. What is the best answer? Nuclear.
