They ARE taking the path to "heaven," or at least Utopia. You're never gonna change that belief. The change comes when enough of the +40% are fed up enough to get off their butts an VOTE -- and do it SMARTLY. The most Conservative candidate that has ANY realistic chance of winning.  Baby steps if necessary.

Problem is that your "40%" is not 40% anymore.  The communists, illegals, moochers, perverts, liars, cheaters....have grown to 50% +.  It takes more than just "an effort" from the decent Americans at this point.  It takes an offensive.  To change / shame / threaten the rotten selfish SOB's.  Just like they've done to us for 45 years.
