The writer of the article obviously has a soft spot in her heart for the valiant revolutionaries of Cuba who've so clearly and thoroughly let the people they claim to love, down. But then what Communist regime didn't?

Yeah its a "socialist paradise" that is why people are willing to fashion rafts out of old milk jugs and tires and try to float through shark infested waters to Key West to get out of the damn place.
