As best I can tell from the site you identified:
- Cruz got a total of $300k in four years from two big business sources.
- In 2012, Obama received $315M from "large individual contributors" alone.
So the funds don't really compare at all - 1000:1. But you might expect that since BO was a president. There is no real comparison to be made on dollars that I see.
