Get ready for more of these type pieces. The long knives will be out for any true conservative that shows any promise. It will get worse after November.
Exactly what happened to Gingrich, Cain, West, Bachmann, Palin, Santorum, and Perry last time.  The MSM and dems cleared them all out post-haste, leaving only RINO's Huntsman, Portman, and Romney.  Just about 100% with rumors, innuendo, fake stories, etc.

That's what we need to have an answer for.  It's going to happen again.  What's our work-around  ?  We either need top get savage in the PR / marketing world just like them, or we create a TP / independent ticket.

I see ads every day around here blasting Desjarlais for fooling around with his former patients, and getting one pregnant and an abortion.

But not a peep about Alexander's top guy being a practicing pedophile for 5-10 years.  Is it distasteful to go down this road ?  Sure.  Are we ready to stop losing ?  Who knows.  They're not gonna stop anything they're doing, which is beating us soundly.

That's why we lose.  When we stop answering crotch kicks with feather-tickles, maybe we'll stop losing.

It will be up to the individual candidate to stand up and fight back. Hopefully, the RNC will also fight fire with fire. The GOP gets knocked for Lee Atwater's tactics, but they worked. The dems have learned to use them well and never get called. It gets back to the establishment wanting the MSM to like them. That will never happen, but they keep trying.

Yes, I agree with you the MSM helped elect Obama, there is no doubt.  I think Americans on both sides are fed up.  Certainly in my mind, I would love to see a 3rd party; but I definitely think I'm in the minority on that issue.  I think Cruz would make a great president, but I don't see him leaving the Republican party.  The only one I see making a run for it on a 3rd party ticket is Paul ... he's already been labeled as a Libertarian, so switching parties wouldn't be such an issue.

Statistically there are appx. 62 million registered Democrats and 47 million Republicans.  I don't see a huge chance for a successful 3rd party candidate.  Cruz is already associated with the Republican party, that's not going to go away.  Paul is under the Republican umbrella but the media has him labeled as a Libertarian ... so I feel he has the best shot at a 3rd party win.

I really think, every thing hinges right now on the November elections. At the least of course I hope the Republicans keep their seats in the House.  At best the Republicans will take both Houses, and if they manage to accomplish things Obama and the Democrats will be trying to take full credit.

There's no reason for a third party.  The non-Republicans in the Republican party can convert to the Democrat party.  They have that option.

A third party coming from the republican side guarantees a dem win.

Budowski's opinion is worth about as much as Leon Trotsky's.
The present, so called, R leadership is nothing but a gaggle of
corrupt assholery whose only focus is on money and power.
They are the tails of the DC coin.
More importantly, the GOP is not and has never been a
principled conservative party; in contrast to the southern
agrarian and rural Democrats. Rather, since 1856, the GOP
was always the party of government. Anyone who thinks
otherwise, is in denial. Conservative mantras and slogans
are trotted out at election time to bemuse the R lo-fo rank and file.

Yea, we need a candidate who wont attack democrats.

That's just what America needs, more people in a party which with it's mouth claims to oppose the national socialist (NAZI) political ideology espoused and supported by the DNC.

Which although claiming with it's mouth to oppose that political ideology, in practice does everything the DNC snaps it's fingers and says to do.

Look folks, politics are, like or not, a form of civilized warfare you could say.

In warfare You don't win the war by rolling over and doing what the enemy wants every time the enemy snaps it's fingers and says do something.

And you don't win a political struggle either, if every time the DNC snaps it's fingers, you roll over like a good doggie, beg, and do what the DNC says do.

The last thing America needs, is more so called "moderate RINO's" who roll over and do what the DNC says do at the snap of a finger, infesting the party which claims to be the party of liberty and freedom for all.

So if Cruz were elected, and IF Cruz so chose to do so. I for one wouldn't lose a wink of sleep seeing him purge the RNC of these RINOS and so called "moderates".

Frankly these so called "moderates" and RINOS are and should be made irrelevant within the RNC.

IF they want to act and behave as a Democrat fine, let them go join the Democrat party.

As long as the Republicans don't fight fire with fire, they can continue to lose.

Civility just doesn't seem to work.  That's why I don't see Sarah Palin as a viable candidate.  The media knives are already being sharpened.  And if no one covers for her, forget it.

If someone would just try the technique of going out with conservative ideas and STICK WITH THEM, despite media and Democrat criticism, they might just win.  Use Reagan's technique of laughing at them.

I just wish SOMEONE would give it a try.

What needs to happen is more education Daisey, most Americans are, when you examine their beliefs, more in line with Conservativism or libertarianism/Constitutionalism.

Not liberalism as it exists within the DNC which is what I call Nazism.

There's nobody / no place for it to happen, except campaign ads, pressers, town halls, rallies, etc.

MSM, Hollywood, academia are all owned lock stock & barrel by the dems, libs, & commies.

Our only opportunity is to do it ourselves, in those ways that I listed.  And we have to be repetitive, loud, obnoxious, and never stop....just like them.

Our quiet just magnifies their propaganda.

The first paragragh should tell you how scared the rinos and liberals are of Mr. Cruz.
People sleep peacefully at night because there are a few tough men prepared to do violence on their behalf.

A foolish man complains about his torn pockets.

A wise man uses it to scratch his balls.
