Ted is just too much for these people.  This report was aggressive, thinking he was going to catch Cruz, and after Cruz' response, they guy was literally caught speechless.

I used to think Cruz was playing intellectual defense, but now, I think he's enjoying it.

I think Ted is realizing it wasn't worth it...look at the 48 hours he's had to waste on this issue. If I was Ted I'd just move on at this point and quit talking about it. He has to focus on his message for a better America and not the Trumpertantrums, which are only  a distraction at this point.

I'm not rooting for Ted, but I'd hate to see his campaign become a sideshow due to Donald Trump, whom I'm starting to dislike more and more. Ted Cruz needs to ignore Trump...and as a matter of fact, so should all the other serious candidates.

Good thing you aren't running his campaign. Politics 101: Don't let spurious attacks go unanswered. When Trump (and the media) changes the subject, Cruz will let it go. Otherwise, he has to defend himself.

Doesn't matter who's doing the attacking as long as the press is picking it up and giving it play. That Trump is not a serious candidate is all the more reason Cruz should defend himself. He needs to point out that Trump is a clown and a loser. If he fails to, he is helping to legitimize the attack.

Look, all I'm telling you is what is common knowledge among political professionals. It isn't controversial. No political adviser worth his salt would advise Cruz not to respond.

I have no idea what Carson has been doing today. I've been working all day. I've managed to listen to a little bit of the Glenn Beck show, Sean Hannity, and Rush Limbaugh, and even spend a little time on the forum here, but mostly I've been very busy at work. I'm finally home and just starting to read the news and catch up on the day's events now. It's not the easiest thing to keep 100% on top of every candidate when you have to work, but I'm trying my best to stay updated.
