Why?
The left despise Chick Fil A, they don't give a shit about the working class, that's always been a huge lie, they are for big govt, think Unions, the left despises individual success, that's why the Marxist said: "You Didn't Build that, Govt Did".

I thought the Chic-fi-a tantrum started over their religious views.

You mean, like the fact that Marxist policy despises Christian Values?
The left needs too kill all forms of opposition, yet those protesting Chick Fil A have no idea they're nothing but useful idiots. They were told that a restaurant chain was bigoted and conspiring against a victim class.
Yes, these people really are that stupid.

Further discussion on the issue should be moved religion, if you have more questions on the subject, start a new thread in Religion.

Adam Smith authored the "Wealth of Nations" ,
David Ricardo the "Principles of Political Economy"
and Thomas Malthus the "Principles of Population".
All were colleagues who scientifically defined industrial
capitalism in the late 18th century affirmed by the Britannica.
The notion that some farmer in the Fertile Crescent or
some fishermen in Ancient Corinth defined capitalism
is too embarrassingly stupid for words.

Oh, sorry. I guess I was way off.  I thought people back then got hungry, wanted shelter, improve life, and all that stuff, and were willing to trade labor, and/or get others to do the labor by compensating them in some way.

Sorry taxed, I am much older then you are and I forgot to tell you about bartering.   "A system of exchange where participants in a transaction directly exchange goods or services for other goods or services without using a medium of exchange , such as money."
A politician thinks of the next election. A statesman, of the next generation.- James Freeman Clarke

Politics is supposed to be the second-oldest profession.  I have come to realize that it bears a very close resemblance to the first.  ~ Ronald Reagan ~

No way. That's crazy talk. Sort of capitalist voodoo stuff.

I didn't bring religion into the topic to discuss, or ask questions about, religion. Your comment just seemed to conflict with my knowledge of that particular situation. It seemed like you were trying to fit a square peg into a round hole. But I won't push the issue. My opinion is that there would be no need to start a separate subject in the Religion forum. That wasn't my intent.

Uh, yes you did.
I thought the Chic-fi-a tantrum started over their religious views.
I was merely pointing out how the left uses govt as a weapon against corps they despise, while using govt to pick winners.
That is not a free society.
Think "Auto Bailout", where the workers lost their pensions when Obozo bailed them out.
Point is, your claim that Govt has done more for workers is total BS, Govt does not create work, it only places barriers on growth while stealing from the taxpayer to promote an entity it prefers.

My only mention of religion was to counter Solar's puzzling interpretation of my comments. Religion was never the premise of my opinion. Solar made this claim.

Come on, man... I specifically did not bring up a debate over religion. I excitedly tried to explain this to you.
