This makes me question all their findings and reports on products.

3 Million Would Lose Healthcare Coverage Under GOP Plan, New Analysis Estimates
Medicaid's chief actuary also projects higher premiums and out-of-pocket expenses

A new analysis of the House Republican plan to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act finds that 13 million people will lose healthcare coverage, premiums will rise, and out-of-pocket costs will go up sharply.

The report, released Tuesday afternoon, is from the chief actuary for the Department of Health and Human Services, formally called the Office of the Actuary in the Centers for Medicaid and Medicaid Services (CMS). The CMS oversees the health insurance exchanges created by the ACA.

The actuary's analysis finds fewer people will become uninsured, 13 million vs. 23 million people within 10 years, than the recent Congressional Budget Office analysis of the GOP's American Health Care Act, which was passed by the House of Representatives last month. The report comes as the Senate is working on its own legislation to replace the ACA.

All you have to do is go back and look at the CBO's Obamacare projections to see they are worthless.

This is something that cannot really be predicted as long as the people have a choice.  Every family is different, every person different. Every person has their own circumstances. Unless the GOP purposefully writes a bill that increases premiums to the point Americans can't afford it there is nothing to suggest people will really lose their coverage. And, there so many things they can do to prevent this.

One more thing. What is the point of scoring a bill that is not up for a vote? This bill like all other will look radically different when it comes to the floor.

Those losing coverage if Obamacare is repealed is only half of the story. It does not take into consideration a couple of things. First, many of those will be able to find other insurance in the marketplace. Secondly, many losing coverage did not want if in the first place but mandated to buy coverage.

That's exactly my point!
CR should be attacking the approach of governmental interference in what should be private industry, instead, they take the leftist approach of Nationalism to business being controlled by govt.
My how far left, a once great and dependable the organization has fallen, and what's really sad is, they replaced decades-long time quality employees with kids right out of college, yes, brainwashed liberals that haven't a clue about what they're reporting on, or how wrong it is to even be involved in reporting the first place.

In my view CR has always had leftist leanings.

I never knew that, but then I really hadn't paid much attention to it since the late 70s when my parents subscribed and all I cared about was the latest gadgets and electronics.
I'm glad I saw this article, I was just about to join. :scared:
